Rang up, booked and paid for my son and my friends son (both SEN)to attend a party on 1st November. Upon arrival with 2 excited boys, we were told it was a private party and we should never have been able to make the booking. I showed the girls at the entrance my proof of payment, again they just said it shouldn't have been allowed. So I got a refund, my friend and her son had travelled from Goole, we had travelled from Preston, the boys wanted a balloon before we left, however, 1 balloon was 80p which I refused to pay for as later bought a full pack of 10 for a pound. Blue kangaroo was a massive let down and poorly run, when staff taking the booking could've said the day I rang to book that the party was a private booking.
Came here as we are on holiday on the area, first impressions from the outside was that it looks a bit run down with the faded sign, and pot holed uneven carpark, we went inside and although the 2 staff members were perfectly lovely the soft play is coming towards the end of its life sadly. Many of the things were held together and patched with duct tape. It's not too big, my 4 year old got about 45 minutes worth of enjoyment from it before he was bored. The price was acceptable, but perhaps should be a bit cheaper considering the age and quality of the equipment.
Children’s play area which is smaller and cheaper than some of its competitors. It can get quite full during school holidays but otherwise there are plenty of tables to sit down, and you can eat some lunch or have a decent cappuccino and cake! There are safe places for children to throw themselves around, and a slide wide enough for several kids to slide down at once. A happy place and the toddlers love it!
We’ve just had our sons 2nd birthday here. It’s a perfect party place for kids especially under 5’s. I highly recommend blue kangaroo. It’s so clean and the party food is brilliant too. I also have to say all the staff are so lovely there and such amazing hosts. They couldn’t do enough for us ❤️
A lovely place for young kids. The Christmas Party today was excellent. Very well planned - and Santa payed a special visit for all the Children - thanks for the special and kind service throughout.
This place is a little small but the kids still enjoyed it, I would say it's recommended for children no older than 6 Food and drinks are a little pricey and they also forgot about my food so had to ask about it luckily they made it fresh.
We used to take my son here all the time. It's smaller than other places in the area but they make it up by the level of service and the quality of food. The coffees are good and there's enough variety. We've been to two parties here over the years and they are really good.
I have visited here for my son's friend birthday party yesterday. It was good for them to play in safe place and also have party there. The drinks there were nice, I got mocha and my husband got green tea. Staffs were nice and friendly. The weather on that day was a bit warm but no air-condition turned on for us. Also, the ceiling is a bit low that make me feel a bit uncomfortable.
