A Really good venue created out of an old redundant dry dock. Excellent for events and shows in the summer. As it is right on the River, it is very exposed to the elements and can be very cold and windy. On an warm evening the backdrop is spectacular. It's so good that this run down part of Hull has been restored and Transformed.

Excellent open air theatre in a great setting. The modern production of Faustus was superb. Loved the way the actors involved the audience.

This is a great venue to see performances, having seen 5 different shows as part of Hull Freedom Festival. There is a lift that can take you down to the stage level however you get great views from the back of the auditorium. It can be very windy. Make sure you wrap up warm and you are sitting on decking above a an old dry dock. *Be warned* the decking has gaps in it which you could quite easily loose your phone or keys through to the mud and water below.

We went to see Romeo and Juliet here today- 21/07/21. What an amazing venue. The volunteers were so helpful and friendly. We hadn’t bought tickets so they gave us the telephone number and we booked whilst stood out side. The production was AMAZING. Everyone knows the story of Romeo and Juliet, but even soi was reduced to tears at the end. The Hull truck theatre production is one of the best I’ve seen. Such a superb finale. The singing voices touched my soul. I can’t recommend this production or indeed the venue enough.

What a great place for a rolla disco. The kids had loads of fun. The people running the event were great and only too happy to help.
