   Lovely thatched pub in rural Northamptonshire. Beautiful stone cottages abound. We stayed for one night. The room was large with comfy beds and very well appointed. Sadly the boiler wasn't working but we were given a discount and a toastie warm heater. The kitchen wasn't open which was a bit of a disappointment as we'd planned the trip for ages but they were happy for us to bring in a takeaway

   Despite one of our group booking a table with this venue, every single meal on the menu that our party wanted was out of stock! The waitress was also a bit rude as she said to us and I quote "to be honest I'd rather you not here anyway, because then I could go home to my dog!". One person from our party also got served out of date apple juice as it was all lumpy and slimy! I don't think I'd ever go here again!

   Service was excellent. Food was amazing and very good value for money. Staff were very friendly. The location is good. Would definitely recommend and next time we are in the area will come back for food.

   On Sunday Motorcycle ride, our group stopped here for lunch. We pre ordered food as it was a large group. The staff were fantastic dealing with our orders, Food was amazing. We all left with our hunger satisfied. We will be back for more I'm sure. Thank you.

   Ample parking, really friendly staff, great drink selection but the food is just something else! I've been here several times for food and it never disappoints! Pie night has definitely got to be the best night though and the portions are huge and filling. Definitely the pub for you if you like a cosy and homely atmosphere

   Had a lovely stay at The Plough . Lovely room, excellent food, lovely table service, and made to feel so welcome. This is a dog friendly venue. Very much hope to return again in the future, thank you all so much for a lovely few days.

   What a lovely place! Not only were the owners and staff friendly, so were the locals! Food is superb, whether from KJ's kitchen or, on Tuesday, Santina's pizzas. Highly recommended....Will definitely be back.

   After a very long family ramble today we arrived hungry and thirsty when the pub wasn't officially open. The landlady very kindly gave us all some bottled water to keep us going. Huge appreciation to her.
