“Attended a christmas party event at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful.The food service was very quick , and the food was hot and tasty. The rooms were big and well equipped. Breakfast had a good selection, and the staff were really helpful. Overall a great time!”

“I had 1 night stay at Sandra's B&B. The house is immaculate as well as the room. very nicely set up. The bathroom is really nice. The bedroom window is overlooking the stable yard. However, it's all very quiet. No horses banging their doors in the morning or shouting or anything. It's just the pleasure of having the horses close by. You chose your breakfast the night before. I picked egg Benedicte, and it was delicious. Highly recommend this place. If you are staying there, you must book the Red Lion for a diner. It's absolutely delicious (piece of meat)”

“Highly recommend this groomer. They are super professional, experienced and were very knowledgeable of my dogs coat. My dog is a 1 year sheepadoodle and not the easiest coat to deal with. They listened to my needs and when i went to collect, the dog looked, smelled and felt amazing and was exactly how i wanted her to look. It is also a huge plus that my dog enjoyed the experience and getting all the attention on her. Happy owner and happy pup - 5 stars well deserved and a returning customer for many years to come.”

“Fantastic dog kennels, would even go as far to say it's better than some hotels we've stayed at! Nick was a pleasure to deal with, always available and answered our queries within a few minutes. Our big dogs have had a lovely stay and came back happy and nicely worn out which is no mean feat! They'll be staying here again in the future for sure.”

“I spent one night before my nearby wedding at The Clock Tower with my bridesmaids and the following night with my new husband in June 2024. The rooms were big enough for our wedding party to all get ready together. Lizzie and Dave are the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble. They are polite, friendly and very very welcoming. All communications were spot on! The bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are fully equipped with everything you could need and more. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the views to front and rear are to die for, the gardens are beautiful, the bathrooms are the very large, the breakfasts are plentiful (and all locally sourced produce) and were delicious. Its such a relaxing peaceful haven of calm and happiness. We cant wait to find an excuse to go back again. They have two beautiful dogs who are a pure delight.”

“It was my pup's first grooming session so I was nervous to how she would cope. Julie was very friendly and she (and her granddaughter) gave my pup so much attention that I don't think she wanted to leave. I'm very happy with the service and my Bébé is looking forward to her next visit.”

“I stayed at this wonderful B&B the night before my wedding with my bridal party and I could not have been happier with my choice of venue. The view from the downstairs living area was absolutely stunning and was a real treat. The house itself is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room downstairs for all suppliers and the views from the bedrooms were beautiful. What really set this house apart was the service we receieved. Rupert and Serena were outstanding hosts and could not have done any more to make us feel welcome, from providing homemade cake and delicious breakfasts to helping us with our bags and checking in with us to see if we ever needed anything else. I could not recommend this B&B more highly to anyone.”

“Lovely one night stay to go to a wedding at Dodford Manor- so glad we chose here instead of a characterless hotel! Lovely host and lovely little dog made us feel very welcome. The location is stunning and the room was beautifully presented and clean. We had a delicious home cooked breakfast delivered to us in the morning- the fruit compote was especially yummy. “A very quiet store as it was new year's day. Many bargains at half price. We bought Christmas cards and wrapping paper at half price for next Christmas together with one orctwo gifted for next year at knock down price. The ice rinkbwas busy with you families. The staff were surprisingly cheerful give it was the day after new year's eve!”

“The room was clean and nice. The staff nice. Only stayed 1 night for business and it was ideal for that. Breakfast was nice. Unfortunately the Hunters Chicken that I ordered from the restaurant was so tough that a had to eat everything around it before I chiseled into it to avoid sending everything flying. Apart from that it was good. March 2023 update: I stayed for two nights this time on the 13/14, again for business. This time I made use of the swimming pool and the fitness suite on site. I also managed to try the sauna, the first time ever! I managed the whole 15 min on the timer. The food this time was really nice. I had a burger and steak (separate eve's). The team was very friendly and nice and the breakfast was excellent. I have notched up to 5 stars for this recent visit.”
