   First time away for Xmas and the whole experience was amazing. Really felt relaxed and appreciate all the staff giving up their time for us over Xmas. The entertainment was fantastic, enjoyed playing a free bingo every day. Just one thing in the whole time we were there was the comedian, but apart from that no faults at all. Every single member of staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

   A truly excellent stay at Mercure Daventry. The room was excellent, and the service throughout was exquisite. From check-in to the bar and breakfast, everyone was brilliant — friendly, professional, and very approachable at every stage. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A real hidden gem. Highly recommended.

   Attended a christmas party event at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful.The food service was very quick , and the food was hot and tasty. The rooms were big and well equipped. Breakfast had a good selection, and the staff were really helpful. Overall a great time!

   We came for a christmas event on Saturday 20th Dec. If I could give more than 5* for service I really would. We definatly rwcieved 10* service. Massive thanks to the staff who were not only helpful & friendly but also made us all laugh! Thanks to the lady on reception when we arrived who was wearing the gold crown. She was fab & very funny. We had a great team of servers for the event, all smiley friendly & helpful. And a big thank you to the breakfast team Keri & Julia (Hula) who really topped off our stay by being truly wonderful & hilarious. The food at the event and breakfast was really good. The hotel and the rooms were great, good size & had everything needed. Bed was big and comfortable.

   Great place for a conference. The food at lunch was very tasty. Only down side is the booking your car in on arrival, if it’s busy like on the day I was there you can queue out the door to register your vehicle.

   Really pleasant stay. Hotel is easy to find and access. Plenty of on site free parking. Room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom. Shower was good and powerful, and temperature stable. Check-in was easy, and staff are really polite and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Plenty of hot freshly cooked food, cold options, juices, teas and coffees. Sausages and bacon were good quality - these are often cheaper ones, but the quality here was good. Bar prices were as expected for a hotel, but not awful. Service dropped a star because bar service is soooooo slow. Nothing else for me to moan about though. A lovely stay.

   Lovely Hotel with lots to offer for all occasions! Has Spa and leisure facilities, amper free car parking on side, big function rooms, beautiful grounds and the most important great helpful and ego to pleas staff! Stayed one night for a Chess Tournament 4th decision - really enjoyed! Well run breakfast! Recommended!

   We were booked in a twin room and was told our room was a double upon arrival, when the receptionist even recognised it was an error. We then went to the room and the ‘double’ bed was zipped together in the middle and they basically couldn’t be bothered to separate them. Toke us 30 seconds to separate and put new bedding on… All they offered was a tiny pop up bed which had wooden beams pushing through. Breakfast was good and morning receptionist was lovely and acknowledged our feedback.

   The rooms themselves are incredibly tired, and at least a few years overdue for refurbishment. I have stayed several times and always found myself disappointed. The Communal areas however, are fantastic. The bar, Breakfast and Dinner are all well above par, and the Staff are incredibly Friendly. Adequate for One or two nights if travelling for Business, but probably wouldn't be my first choice if travelling with Family.
