   I am sorry to have to do this but after many failed attempts to call them and reserve a table no one ever answered the phones. We probably called about 10 different times. Does anyone know if this place is still open?

   We called in to the Anglers Rest on our way to Armagh, it looked so beautiful from the outside we couldn't resist stopping. Unfortunately we didn't have time to sample the food and only had a quick pint of Guinness which was absolutely spot on, unlike the one I'd had earlier in the airport. The staff were very friendly and even the dog which had sneaked on one of the seating areas was happy to see us. I would definitely recommend a visit to such a lovely pud and I will if I am every in the area again.

   Visited for Sunday lunch. Warm welcome the minute you arrive and staff all very friendly with time to talk even though they were busy. Menu options forced me into the full 3 courses and with a couple of drinks for both of us came to £45 which was very reasonable. One issue for me is that although food intolerances were catered for, there was no vegetarian option on the menu and no obvious vegetarian menu. I may have missed this though. Lots of parking, warm welcome, friendly staff and most of all the great food and atmosphere have left us definitely wanting to come back for more.

   It's nearer the fishing lake of Corbett than Banbridge. Plenty of parking and a traditional no fuss pub style menu of the old school. No smashed avocado on sourdough yet, thank goodness. A friendly welcome and a good stop on the road, near also to that Game of Thrones studio if that's your interest.

   Wonderful people and food! I would make this restaurant a stop if you are nearby. The service was great and the food delicious. We were staying nearby and hungry and didn't have reservations but they put us in the bar area and it was great. All the people in the bar were friendly and the manager was too
