   Absolutely brilliant. I really felt that the staff had my care at heart and provided a smooth, efficient treatment from start to finish.    Had cataract op 9 days ago. Was so nervous but the op only took about 15 minutes and was painless. Next day seeing everything clear and bright was amazing. Hardly any pain or discomfort. All that worrying I did for nothing. The staff are lovely and friendly. I will tell everyone I know not to be nervous as it's a simple procedure and painless. Will not be bothered when I get my 2nd eye done that's for sure.

   Terrible company. Was offered employment, gave me a start date after 4 weeks, left my stable job and then received an email 24th (start on the 27th) saying that the contract has been retracted because my references haven't come back? 1. Why wasn't I made aware? I would of resolved it. (Even thought I know for a fact they was sent back). 2. Why have I been informed now that this is a common thing spa medica does? It's happened before to mutual friends. 3. Please as a company source third party training on how to be better people, how to run a business and not to mess with people's lives and finances. Absolutely shocking. Just wasted the NHS money on an enhanced DBS and a weeks wages for nothing. Sad part is a large majority of my family work in the NHS and I really was looking forward to the position. Guess I doged a bullet though.

   I last worked at the SpaMedica Hull site (at Willerby) as an interpreter, and I was very impressed as to how the place was set up, and run. Would dearly love to be able to work there full-time (especially as someone who have an uncorrectable eye disease myself).

   The receptionists and health technicians were so friendly and knowledgeable. The hospital was clean and spotless. One downfall, the Opthalmologist was ignorant and uninterested in my case. Eyesight is one of the most important senses of life, it would have been appreciated if he would have explained about my situation at length.
