    I've just been to the plastic surgery dept for a wound review. Arrived early because of the roadworks. Was seen 35mins early and got home before my appointment time. As an added bonus we were so quick that the parking fee was nil. Well done Castle Hill all round.

    Had a TKR in April and having my next in December. I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else, the staff are so lovely! From the surgeon, anaesthetist, the nurses and physios (trained by the devil, but very professional), they were all great. Unfailingly polite and helpful, I can't praise them enough. I look forward to seeing you all again next month, thank you xx

    I travelled two hours for my ENT post-surgery appointment, only to be told when I arrived that it had been cancelled. Since I had come such a long way and was still recovering, I asked the receptionist if I could at least get some advice. When I spoke to the nurse practitioner, Hayley Cox, she told me I needed to discuss everything with my surgeon. I explained that I was just asking for some basic advice since I had already made the trip. Her response made me feel dismissed. She said, “I don’t have time for this,” rolled her eyes, and walked off in front of other patients. It was embarrassing and upsetting, especially given the circumstances. Overall, the experience left me feeling unsupported and disrespected. I hope the hospital works on improving communication and the way patients are treated. I have made a formal complaint to PALS.

    The tone of the ladies voice on the ultrasound desk this morning was discusting! And then tried to critisize me when I told her I didnt like her attitude, she told me I couldnt make a complaint and to ring PALS (WHICH I WILL BE DOING) The Clever, sarky, attitude and i will be taking it further! There is no need for it Just remember your a receptionist, you have control over your keyboard, thats it, you are not my doctor or surgeon! Maybe your customer service skills need revising as well as your job!

    Everyone at this hospital are absolutely amazing. My husband has just had major surgery there and all the staff have gone above and beyond not only with his care but also dealing with me. Not once have I felt left out as has happened in other hospitals. They really are the best of the best.

    A traumatic experience. Arrive 07.00, taken through to admissions lounge, still sat there at 13.00. Almost 18 hours since last meal and not allowed anything. Eventually went home. This is cruelty and farm animals are treated better.

    I was admitted to castle hill hospital ward 9 for a partial knee replacement surgery on 17/12/22. The care given to me throughout my experience was outstanding. In recovery the woman nurse there was so compassionate & professional. I was very emotional & in extreme pain, upmost care was given to me & my pain was eased speedily. Once on ward 9 the team there was also very caring, compassionate & professional. Even the cleaners, auxiliary nurses & dinner persons were lovely. After having 2 bad experiences in other local hospitals I was worried the same would occur. Thankfully this was not the case. Every time I pressed my buzzer someone was there to help me, give me pain relief, water or make me a warm drink. I am actually extremely great full for the 5 star care I received many thanks and blessings to you all ward 9. You made my experience positive & aided my recovery xxx

    Had procedure done this week very helpfully soon as you walked in the building a guy showing you where you need to go. Staff couldn’t do enough to help or make you feel comfortable highly recommend all round there caring & professionalism cleanliness is outstanding.
