   Our room was in the annex outside, very private , large room and very well equipped, tea and coffee making facilities. Hot water and decent shower, only criticism I had was the carpet was marked in several places in the room but didn't spoil our stay, ideally located in the centre of Beverly and close to all shops/bars etc. We would definitely stay here again

   Our rooms been booked for us to stay and we met Angie on arrival. She direct us to our rooms, explained what should we do in case key is not working and been absolutely star of the day with her smile and hospitality. Rooms are clean, warm and welcoming.

   I booked this hotel for my husbands birthday treat. I paid extra for a fancy room with a four poster bed. We paid extra for an early check in. On arrival in November, 10 degrees outside the room was stone cold. No radiators on anywhere in the hotel. We called reception 3 times to get this resolved. Nothing happened. No one called us back. We have now left and gone home. We had a table booked in a restaurant but had to cancel. Our time is precious and we have just wasted a day travelling and let numerous people down. Extremely disgusted with the service. Edited Do not book a stay with this hotel. They will not provide you with the service you have paid for!

   Don't let the front of the hotel put you off. They are in process of updating it. The actual entrance is at the rear of the hotel. Free parking for residents, around 12 spaces. Rooms are large and clean, lovely staff. Will definitely be using again.

   Myself and my husband stayed at the hotel for two nights for the races. The hotel was in the middle of a refurbishment but the guy on the reception was lovely and nothing was too much for him. The room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfy and also had a great shower. Location was excellent, two minute walk to town centre. No breakfast included but that wasn’t a problem. Tea/ coffee making facilities in room, plus ironing board and iron and also hairdryer. We both really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be going back next year.

   Spent two nights at the Lairgate and enjoyed it so much we tried to book an extra night but it was fully booked. Apparently there was a motor event on that weekend. It is a traditional hotel, not much chrome and plastic. The room was pleasantly warm, the bed was very comfortable and the linen was spotlessly clean. The furniture was a traditional mahogany and there was a big flat screen TV. The bathroom was quite large with a shower over bath and there was a constant supply of hot water. The main entrance is via the car park which is not big, though we managed to park the car during the time that we were there. The hotel was not doing evening meals while we were there but there is a Wetherspoons close by. All in all we were very happy with the hotel which represented excellent value for money.

   Fair value. A bit tired but a great location. Good service. An old school hotel that hasn't been updated and it shows. However, it's right in the centre of Beverly so all amenities are right on the doorstep.

   Myself and some friends stayed here on the night of the 5th November, our rooms were freezing when we checked in, I went to speak to the man who had checked us in and asked him to turn on the heating , he told me he would press boost on the heating but either he didn't or the heating system wasn't working in our rooms. The radiators were freezing for the entirety of our visit and our clothes and belongings were starting to feel damp when we got up the next morning . When we came back to our rooms that night the night porter had to give us two little fan heaters to warm our rooms and admitted he didn't know how to turn the heating on or what button to press for boost! The room decor was tired and dated and I was glad we were only staying one night. I wouldn't be recommending this hotel to anyone and as we were checking out there was no one to pass our concerns onto at reception - I wonder why.
