Me and my family came here for a christmas dinner and as soon as we got there we had to wait at least 10 minutes to be served and taken to a table. Then a waitress came to our table and took our drink orders. Most of us ordered a diet coke and the waitress said it costs extra even though we had paid for it all in advance. After our drinks arrived we were constantly bothered for 10 minutes by flies flying around us and we had to wait over 15 minutes to get our orders taken for the main course and my mother was even waving the menu in the air to get the waiters attention because we were quite hungry and were starting to get impatient. about 5 minutes later a waitress finally comes over and takes our order for the starters. my father ordered the tomato soup and no one else wanted starters because there were not many options. after the tomato soup arrived it was cold and bland and my father struggled to eat it because it was so flavourless. after he finished his starter a waitress came over and took our main course orders. Since there weren't alot of options we only ordered two christmas dinners and a kids meal which consisted of three cod goujons with chips and peas. After we had all finished our meals the waiter came over and took everyones plate except for my father's plate. after 30 minutes of waiting my fathers plate finally got taken away. the people who were sitting next to us at the time had to wait 15 minutes for their desserts to arrive. and my family were waiting over 35 minutes for our desserts. for context me and my family only had 90 minutes to dine here before the next lot of customers arrived and our time started at 13:00, the time is now 14:16 and we are still waiting for our desserts. me and my family usually dine at the yacht club but this year we decided to switch things up a bit and I think its safe to say we won't ever be coming back here again especially considering we paid over £200 for this dinner. Update: after waiting and waiting our desserts finally arrived and my fathers christmas pudding was served on a dirty plate with residue of a previous dish on it. definitely not coming back here.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) We ate here as part of the Butlins Dine Around package and overall had a really enjoyable experience. On arrival, things felt a little disorganised — it was quite busy, to be fair — but once seated, everything ran smoothly. The food was good quality; the burgers and chicken were well cooked and tasty. The only downside was the chips, which were unexpectedly spicy and not advertised as such, so I didn’t eat them. Personally, I preferred the mains at The Diner, but the desserts here were much better — the cheesecake in particular was fantastic.

Reminds me of nando’s. During lunch time they offer a kids eat for £1 which is a great for right after a swimming splash session. They offer a colouring paper and crayons for you and I saw a microwave and bottle warmer free for all. You have a choice of either ordering from the bar or using the app as the QR code is in the table. We were told that in future we should wait at the entrance where the arcade is and wait to be seated as we came from the outside. The food came very quick and looked delicous. I would recommend the half chicken and with two sides as it’s more than enough and I couldn’t finish it. The toddlers meals also included x2 sides. If you do opt for the dessert the frozen ice cream is unlimited as I saw someone go back x4 and this was an adult. Plenty of seating inside for families of all sizes with its comfortable seats, high chairs are available to be used too. We brought alcohol and was asked for ID even though we were over 30 it was nice.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. We attend the tots weeks at Butlins and dine her every day, the food is really good, better than Nando’s, and the service especially from my lovely manager (lady blonde hair) who wasn’t there in our last trip but then another manager Brad? Looked after us amazingly. Kids meals are a really good size, bottomless drinks and ice cream for kids to enjoy. I love the food, the staff, the happy atmosphere and every time we come this is the only restaurant we use in the evening unless they are shut and then I am gutted!! See you in March guys xxx

Good food, polite staff, but SLOW service. Took a while to get seated, and ages for my order to be taken - despite not being busy at all. Meal could have done with some veg ! Would eat here again but hopefully comments will lead to improvements.

Friends had raved about the food here so we were excited to try it but found it very much overrated. Not a huge amount of variety. Being called "firehouse grill" I had expected steak on the menu but it was pretty much all chicken. The food was nice but I felt disappointed.
