A lovely spacious park, the best in the town. Spacious, nice and cosy. There are also a playground, library and jungles.

What a fantastic park for a day out. Kids can fish in the lake, there's a mini zoo with a fantastic aviary, playing fields, playground ,toilets, café even pedalos and a water chute. Its a pity that the paddling pools are always closed.

A great place to spend an hour or two with your family. Plenty of attractions, animals and birds, rides and even fishing!

Really great venue for a outdoor concert. Park is neat and tidy, spacious and easy to get to. We left our car at the hotel as the bus drops to you right outside the park gates. It was a lovely atmosphere and we had a great time!

What a great asset to Hull-and it’s free! I hadn’t been to East Park for many years but I visited this week and it was lovely! First of all it is huge, with water features, endless paths to explore, a fab animal centre, a splash boat, children’s facilities and lots more… It’s great for people of all ages and particularly popular with dog walkers and runners. As it is traffic free there are also great routes for cyclists and very safe for supervised children learning to ride. If you love being outside in nature it’s definitely the place to be: so many squirrels, birds of all descriptions including swans and geese ( and the emu in the animal centre ) and so many trees high are glorious in their Autumn shades just now. There are plenty of maps around the site to help you to navigate and several entrances to the park. Toilets are in the Pavilion/East Park Library and also in the Education Centre. It’s very easy to access using the buses which run frequently from the city centre along Holderness Road.

My favourite park to visit. Can go see animals, play in the water park. The normal play area is brilliant. All free of charge.. can do extra things like go on pedal boats, have a ride on the land train and the splash boat built in 1929 and recently been refurbished is definitely worth a ride

Such a lovely park! I can't believe how tame the squirrels are! My son managed to get one on his hand. The lake area is beautiful and the amount of wetland birds is just wonderful.

Loved the paint a bat box activity at the animal centre for Halloween... Great idea. And some lovely bat facts, bat activities and beautifully decorated boxes to add to the experience. The information signage for the animals has been improved from previous visits and is clear, informative and easy to gain information from. Loved the large bird aviary. Some areas could've been improved. Then back in the main park, the kids enjoyed the playground and the geese and are ready to come back when they can!

This was the first visit back to the park since Covid and was happily surprised at some of the new things there. The kids loved the play area, seeing the animals, (though there wasn't as many as usual) and the land train ride. With lots of space for a nice walk, or for kids to burn off their excess energy, it's a must for all ages to visit for a lovely day out.
