Sadly a change in management means a change in service. Prescription sheets handed back with no real explanation when they can't fill an item. No sympathy for people unable to shop around to other chemist's. Chemist holds my prescription in his hand and tells me to come back as he's going for his lunch!! Why pick it up in the first place. Not everyone is a 2min walk away, so that's more fuel wasted driving to and from. It's sad, having been a customer of this chemist for well over 30 years we have now had to move our dispensing to somewhere else. Staff get annoyed at customers annoyance because they obviously have no say in things either.

Shocking service, absolutely appalling, went to pick my repeat prescription up and was told they can't get my asthma inhalers ,there is always a problem with this pharmacy if its not stock its no pharmacist, do not use this pharmacy

I have repeat prescription service with my GP, prescription is being sent to this pharmacy which is my nearest. They always have a problem with one of the items, they don’t keep it in stock, I get that. But prescription is being sent in advance and they never order the item on time until I appear in the store. This time I called them on the day when the prescription has been sent to the pharmacy (Thursday) to confirm when I can collect my medication and I’ve been assured BOTH items will be ready to collect by Friday just before long, New Year weekend. On Saturday morning I’ve been informed there is one item missing and I can collect it on Tuesday morning, after long weekend. It’s for high blood pressure and lack of this medication put my health and life at risk!

Couldn't put Zero Stars!!, never a Pharmacist there, queues always 10 deep, Staff working on post prescriptions, not bothered about you, They are obviously over worked and under staffed. every time I have been there is a sign on the door saying that the pharmacist is off on some sort of emergency, doors are locked, Don't even try on a Saturday, christ!!!. Just very poor customer service from LLoyds all round, But its been this way for as long as I have known (3+ years) so its not going to change, I have finally given up and changed to another chemist. I would suggest everyone else doing the same.

I agree with the other comments. I have lost count of the times there is no pharmacist available here. Leave people waiting outside in the elements and lacking in basic customer service. I advise everyone to collect prescription from doctors and get it made up at a chemist in town. No point in letting this so called pharnacy get there hands on it or you'll be waiting for ever.

There's never a pharmacist so you can't get your meds. Complained to head office who apologised and sad " Glad to hear I've found a different independant chemist who can provide my meds". Thats how interested they are. Gave 1 star because you can't write a review otherwise.

I have used this Lloyd's branch since it opened. Some staff members have changed but still some originals knocking about behind the counter. I Find that sometimes I have to wait in the queue to be seen too, but that is the same in all shops, never mind a pharmacy where your prescription has to be checked that no mistakes have been made in the amount, type and if you've had this drug before, if not they explain how to take your medicines. Also, new government policy has the pharmacist having to check different types of maladies, cuts, bruises, burns and other minor ailments to take some pressure of the Hospitals A&E Departments and also from the Doctors. When this happens, the Pharmacist has to stop what she or he was doing and attend to them. This would be a great idea if one of the other staff could take over from the pharmacist while away. As with other great ideas, I don't think this has been properly thought out! As to the staff, as my mother always said, treat other people as you wish to be treated your self, so I can honestly say, they have always been as cheerful as anybody else who has to deal with all types of customer, and service, depends not so much on the staff but on who needs what before you. I personally have found that always, they try to be as polite and friendly and helpful as possible. So I would like to say a big thank you to them all and please keep up the excellent work you sometimes do in trying conditions.
