Great little independent pet food/supplies shop. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Great to take the dog in (when the weather isn't quite this hot!) Little treasure in the community
I cannot rate this place more highly. I first walked through the door with zero knowledge on raw food after picking up a puppy the day before Maureen was very kind and spent a fair amount of time running through the basics. Since then every week I've been back the store has been staffed with exceedingly helpful happy people, I think I've seen 5 different members of staff and they've all been a delight to interact with. The shop itself is an absolute treasure trove of goodies. Lots of different types of raw (frozen) foods all manner of treats n sweets and toys and other animal feeds. An absolute gem of an independent shop. The owners should be very proud.
I can echo most of the The reviews. We in Portchester (and our pets) are lucky to have Tiggys as a "go to" shop for special dog treats etc.There is a great wide range of treats, food and accessories at good prices, especially compared to some of the big pet food shops. The staff who run the shop are always welcoming and have good knowledge of their products. Yes, the shop smells like a pet shop. But this is mainly because it sells real meat products and in lose quantities in open containers, again unlike plastic pre packs you find in big shops. Definitely worth a visit whether you are vegan, vegetarian or carnivorous. Well done Tiggys Place. KH
I feel lucky to have this local, independent shop nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful and the range of stock is fantastic! My dog seems to know when I'm due to stock up here and mobs me when I get home with all her goodies! Knowing all the products are high quality and natural mean I can shop here with confidence, knowing what I buy is safe and nutritious for my dog.
I love shopping locally at Tiggys. When we decided to switch our dogs food to raw we went into store and Julie was so helpful and friendly sharing her knowledge and giving us different options, educating us which was refreshing compared to other places who were extremely forceful on their opinions. I love the choice they have and great availability. I’m particularly grateful for the amazing and fast delivery service! I’ve been caught short a few times realising we’re low on dog food and I think in all instances I’ve had the same day delivery.
Fantastic shop with a brilliant range of products! Couldn't recommended them enough! All of the products are healthy and with free local delivery and knowing I can always ask for help is brilliant. I made a mistake with storing something incorrectly and it went mouldy but upon asking about this. I was offered a refund even though it was my fault! Will recommend to anyone and everyone I can! Thank you tiggys place! Very happy me and husky pup!
