Prices have shot up since my last visit but that was ages ago. Shop wasn't very clean and smelt bad. Damaged products om the shelves. Don't recommend visiting at all.

Poundstretchers have gone downhill over the last few months. I used to be able to buy tea bags, pet food, kitchen stuff, toiletries etc at a cheap enough price that warrants being called a 'discount shop'. I found it no longer sell these items at a cheaper price and have inflated the prices so much that I choose to not buy from there anymore. If I wanted to buy these items at these prices I'd go to a bigger brand supermarket and probably get a lot of it cheaper than Poundstretchers.
