   Left my dog for the first time, for 4 days when dropping him off it seemed a but damp and cold but thought nothing of it as they were cleaning, When I picked him up 4 days later, I wasn't greeted my by usually super happy dog, his bed was wet he was wet his toys were wet, and yet again the kennels were damp but people were cleaning.. I get home aprox 3 hours later my dog is still shaking, which is very unlike him, he is super clingy and very larthargic and super tired. I put this down to just being out of his own space and me leaving him, that is wouldn't move from my side. Roll on less than 12 hours after I was up with my dog panting, weak and struggling to breathe, I booked an emergency appointment at the vets for 9am, to be told he has pneumonia and lucky to have caught it now before it got rapidly worse.. So not only did I then get overcharged when I checked out and paid well over the odds for nothing, but I then had to rush my dog to the vets and pay another £400.. I would never recommend leaving your animals here, the ladies may work hard but looking after the pets but the conditions are horrendous and it wasn't even the coldest months of the year... Do your research before choosing this place.

   AVOID. Our dog stayed here for three days and came back with kennel cough. If you like spending money on emergency vet appointments in addition to their high prices, this is the kennel for you. Very industrial kennel set up with strays coming in from Southampton (probably where the kennel cough comes from). Loud, stressful experience for dogs. First and last time we will use this kennel. Our dog couldn't wait to get back in the car which in hindsight is also another sign that they should be avoided.

   Would give 0 stars if that was possible. We have 4 dogs, 3 of which are initially nervous with change and meeting new people. Putting them into kennels was a very difficult decision to make, but the staff made it seem like a nice place to start with. "Can we get an update on their stay please?" This was my question. The reply was, "Yes, of course, just use messenger any time, and we will reply to you." I gave it a couple of hours to let them settle, then sent my update request. No response, nothing but an automated message saying that the message had been received. They did have time to post a different update on their Facebook page AFTER my update request, so it was a conscious decision to ignore my message. The phone line was reserved for emergencies only. 3 nervous dogs, 2 sleepless owners, no idea how they were doing due to complete ignorance from the Kennels. Now, I understand it's busy, and im not expecting an instant, detailed response, but if you are told you can get a reply, then you should surely get one, whether it is brief or not?! There was plenty of staff there, but still nothing. Recognition is surely common decency?? We will now be trying somewhere different, somewhere competent. At drop off, we specified which dogs need to be paired together due to one being a little reactive towards the other, (we paid extra for 2 kennels for this reason) but on collection, they had put these 2 in together, and then tried to tell us that's what we asked for! We were also told that 2 of them didnt eat, but they dont know which 2 it was, how can you not know when they are supposedly in "YOUR CARE"!! Also on collection, we were greeted with "that'll be £112.50". No please, no thank you, no hello, no mention of the dogs welfare, just straight to money from the most miserable of greetings. You asked for a review, so here it is, a detailed and truthful review. I will never recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel comfortable while their dogs are being "looked after". No love, no care, nothing. Never again. The same review has also been left on their Facebook page as I feel people need to be aware that this establishment is a disgrace

   If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We left our reactive rescue dog with them for 2 weeks and they have been taking such good care of him. We are receiving regular photo and video updates and he seems genuinely so happy. I highly recommend the team at Three Oaks.

   I drove all the way from Newcastle to Three Oaks to save a dog from being put to sleep.. they are a lovely caring kennels. Matilda now has a second chance at life thanks to Three Oaks.. thankyou

   My 7 month old has just spent 4 nights at Three Oaks , and he seemed to really enjoy his stay ! He has come back lovely and clean - I was very nervous about leaving him but the staff all were lovely and I called to check on him and they all said he was settled and enjoying playing with some other dogs !

   My dog Mabel used this kennel for the first time last weekend and I can not fault the place. The staff were extremely welcoming, caring and knowledgeable. Mabel came home happy and clean. When collecting Mabel , Lou was so nice and gave me a detailed update of how Mabel had been over the weekend. The staff even let me settle Mabel into her kennel when dropping off which made feel better. Mabel is a rescue so leaving her was a huge worry for me but I didn’t have to be worried at all. Thank you for looking after my baby girl in such a fabulous way .

   Well, today I went to see this place as I need my furry son to stay here for a few days. The girl who attended me was very nice and showed me where the dogs are, a room with heating and air conditioning, with access to an outdoor patio. I could bring my dog's bed, toys etc... if I wanted to. They take them out to run separately and they even have a vet just 2 minutes away. One of the girls lives right upstairs. At first glance I found it very reassuring. My dog never pulled me off the leash as if he wanted to leave. I can't say more at the moment, as my dog has not been there yet, but the first impression was not bad at all.
