   We have used Island Cottage Holidays on five occasions and each time had a really good experience. We have stayed at 'Little Dormers', Cowes. 'Beaulieu Cottage' in Borthwood,Sandown and just returned from 'Baltija', St Lawrence. Each cottage has been excellent but we have to say 'Baltija' is a bit special given its fantastic location. We will definately use this company again. Highly recommended.

   Horrendous experience with this company. We booked Spring Cottage and arrived at the property to find a 15ft sink hole in the garden that we had not been notified of. Totally unprofessional response from island cottage rentals manager who told us that 'we should expect things to change at a property over time' Don't risk ruining your holiday by booking with this company.

   I booked a week at "The Glass House" in Cowes from 3rd Oct through Island Cottage Holidays for 6 adults and two small children. The booking/ferry crossing arrangements were faultless. The glass house is a unique property over 4 levels with a superb roof terrace on the 4th. It is in a perfect location with wonderful unbeatable views right on the sea front with a huge variety of yachts and shipping ever on the move just in front of you. Cowes shops were 10mins easy walk away. Accommodation is very comfortable with distinctive decor. Concern that 4 flights of stairs could be a problem were unfounded but it is definitely not suited to those with walking difficulties.The huge extent of glass used provided 180 degree visibility from the lounge and master bedroom. The glass staircase gets some getting used to, definitely not one for bare feet. Overall our family loved it.

   We booked a weeks holiday at Driftwood Cottage on the I.O.W with Island Cottage Holidays and we were pleasantly surprised with how easy and straight forward the process was. We dealt with Carole and she could not have been more helpful, from advise with the booking and the organising of the ferry. Everything was completed well in advance and all documentation including ferry tickets were delivered by email. On the couple of occasions that we had questions and needed to change a couple of things She dealt with them over the phone helpfully, professionally and with absolutely no problems. We were really impressed with Driftwood Cottage, great location opposite the beach, clean with everything we needed, including a welcome package of supplies. We would go again and would definitely use Island Cottage Holidays for any future bookings. Highly Recommended. Thank You.

   Very bad experience with this place, booked a cottage through them that had a few issues one of which was an alarm going of through the night from 9pm to 9am the next morning every 10minutes. Cottage in middle of nowhere with no signal or landline. Asked for one days compensation as didn't get any sleep with our two children and currently heavily pregnant. Said they'd speak to owner never got back to us apart from to tell us they were keeping our deposit of £350 because we left the place untidy, a few pictures followed of some dishes and some blankets on the floor. I asked the manager of the office a lady called Christine if they expected us to clean the house thoroughly when we left and she said no but we should have washed the dishes I assumed there cleaners would put these in the dishwasher obviously not. And obviously this has cost us £350! I have never been treated so disrespectfully by any company before avoid this place at all costs. Update : they did in the end return my deposit which was appreciated.
