   We purchased our wedding bands from John, he was brilliant and very patient whilst we tried to make our decision on what to go with.    Brought in a 14-carat watch chain and a platinum diamond ring, hoping for a professional evaluation for sale. Instead, I waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged, only to be met with a one-word answer: “No.” My items weren’t even looked at. If the goal was to make me feel invisible, mission accomplished. If you value your time or basic courtesy this probably isn’t the place to visit…...

   Very disappointed in my second visit here after singing their praises the first time. There is a wonderful selection of jewellery but the gentleman I talked to was rude in manner and extremely curt. I was made to feel less than and like my time and money was worthless. Sadly disappointed with such a valuable local familu business. The lady I talked to last time was lovely and helpful and hope she is there if I ever have to visit in the future.

In the last few years they have advised on ear-ring backs for my mum, found a beautiful bracelet for my niece's significant birthday, mended a delicate necklace and re-strung a paste pearl necklace of great sentimental value and cleaned my rings. Always friendly, always kind and always professional, full of good advice and a pleasure to deal with.
