Class head of steam pub, great food, welcoming atmosphere and an awesome selection of beers!!! Highly recommended for any trip to Hull!
Post wedding get together in this lovely pub in Trinity Square in Hull Old Town. Great choice of beers and pizza was delicious
Came in for some food and it turns out it was the weekly quiz night. Had lots of fun and some banging food. John and Claire were really attentive too, bringing cutlery out before I’d even finished my order and running me through the different beers on tap.
Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Vegan burger a bit dry and lacked the 'pink sauce' but the rest of the party enjoyed there meals. Probably wouldn't come back here for food but the drinks are good.
Amazing Beer selection and amazing vegan food, everything clearly labelled and staff are on top of it when it comes to allergens and dietry restrictions. Super relaxed vibes and staff are some of the nicest I've come across! Would recommend it to anyone and any vegan looking for some good vegan pub grub! They even have vegan shrimp!!!
We used to love this place it was our favourite place to go for Vegan food and cocktails! Unfortunately our last experience at this place was super disappointing. The cocktails are still amazing and the deals 2 for 1 are great. However the service has massively gone down Hill and the staff on this particular night were very rude and hostile. We both ordered the vegan head of steam gyros. It's not the best idea that both the vegan and the meat gyros have the same name, but I made sure to ask for the vegan one as we've had plenty of experiences in other restaurants where people get vegan dietary requirements wrong. The staff member put in the wrong gyros and after waiting a while we were served the meat one, which was very upsetting and obviously a huge error. We were still very friendly as we understand mistakes happen, however the staff were not apologetic about this. We asked if we can just get the vegan version, and then were told by the chef that there isn't any of the vegan ones left. By this point the manner of the staff and their handling of the situation was enough to make us want to leave. However we weren't given any compensation or effort of apology for the mistake. So dissapointed and it ruined a really special occasion.
Downloaded the app to order to the table to find they didn't have probably over half the menu available, settled for some dirty fries which were quite nice I'll give them that and the staff were friendly enough. My partner got the steak sandwich in which the steak was very chewy and had to leave half of it. Probably wouldn't visit anytime soon especially until they get their full menu back in stock or at least the majority of it. No explanation anywhere why there were so many products that were out of stock
Had a lovely meal out with a friend. The burgers were lovely and the chips were nice. My rhubarb gin was the highlight of the evening. Our dessert were lovely but would have preferred the chocolate sauce in the side. Over all it was a really nice place for a meal and a catch up.
