Poundland is a great place to shop. They have a wide variety of goods like sweets, children's items, makeup, and now clothing. The only downside is that a lot of the items are now above a pound. Maybe they should change the name

Layout is pretty good, easy enough to know your way around after one visit. Seasonal aisle is always changed on time. The queue set up is taped off to mark 2 meters between customers and the tills nearly always have 2 running at once making a long queue not such a long wait.
Friendly, helpful staff and unmatched bargains! Forgot to brush my hair this morning before work and Poundland are always in a position to have all the essentials you'll ever need in a minor crisis! Only giving four stars as some of the lights aren't working and sometimes entire bays are completely empty. I'm sure both of these things are in hand but in the spirit of a fair and honest review I feel I must include these things. All in all a fantastic addition to our ailing high street and I hope they stick around!
Poundland is always busy, so this must say it all. Cheap and very handy for purchasing needed items which are normally a lot cheaper than the local supermarket. I would say I go to Poundland at least once a week.
