   Everytime I go in there there is an issue, the electricity is cutting on and off, they dont have the item I want and is out of stock or the line to pay is out the door because there is only 3 self checkouts and staff wont get on tills quick enough

   The lady who controls the till is very rude. Unintentionally, I pressed wrong button, she came and touching my buyings harshly. If she is unhappy about her job, it doesn't mean consumers should also feel this. I would ve asked HR Manager to guide her or provide guidelines how to communicate with consumers. I told her calmly that I can manage the rest and she didnt even listen to this

   Visited this morning. Most staff pleasant and helpful. Apart from young guy upstairs, lots of ear piercings. I asked him where something was and he tutted then huffed and shouted at me "back wall obviously". Extremely rude either needs extra training or sacking.

   Got all I needed but a lot of it is now £1.50/ £2. So not a great deal any more which is disappointing. They do have a great variety of products, food and drink. Staff wouldn't let me use the self serve till so it took longer to go through check out.

   Poundland has such a great range of certain items,like cleaning supplies.Brand Names,all £1 each.Ornaments for your place,£1,& some are really nice..Obviously,toys aren't gonna be too safe,but,as I always put in most reviews,"you get what you pay for"..same is true for Poundland.I will say though,it's the best of all the pound shops I've ever visited..update (Oct 2022): Most items are no longer £1, most have gone up in price by at least 25p,some are now £2.So, now I'd prefer to call it a "A Few Pound Land" instead.If you're in the Commercial Road branch, & "Savers" (2 or 3 doors along), sell similar items to what you want, check in there first and make sure you're getting the best bargain...Cleaning products especially, are better priced in savers..

   Largest Poundland Store we've ever been in. The store is spread over two floors. The ground floor is more or less like the usual Poundland, but upstairs there are mens and womens clothes, children's clothes and much more. Definitely worth a visit to grab that bargain.
