Got an ice cream from here and the guy was so friendly and charming great service
Appalled, bought a brolly for some shade for my 85yr old Mother, got it back to our accommodation, opened it and it was totally broken with rust on the underside and top. Took it back today for a refund, the owner refused saying we broke it, I pointed out the rust which he couldn’t explain. Very unpleasant experience!!

We'd already tried the Marshfield Farm Ice Cream elsewhere, but when we spotted the sign indicating that Lee Beach Store And More were selling it, we made a point of stopping in the car park opposite and making a purchase! So glad we did. The Marshfield Farm Ice Cream is better than any other ice cream. Forget your boring vanilla, chocolate or strawberry. This is in another league. I chose the cookie dough and clotted cream, caramel biscuit (Lotus), and raspberry pavlova in a tub, which was absolutely overflowing as the scoops were so generous. My husband had mint choc chip, honey and ginger, rum and raisin, all in a cone - also overflowing. Other flavours were equally imaginative and I wish I could have tried them all. And all served by a lovely lady with a wonderful smile. Worth stopping here just for the ice cream. Do yourself a favour: by-pass all the other ice cream parlours and stop here. It's "Simply The Best, Better Than All The Rest".
Very rude in there, they follow you around as if you are going to steal. They shouted at two customers (my friend and someone else) for taking shorts out of the packaging to check the size claiming there were signs which no one saw. They have a tiny shop, yet they make their little daughter follow you around with a walkie talkie as if you are going to steal. Very uncomfortable experience. We left after we tried checking the size of shorts after we were told by TWO different members that we weren’t allowed to take it out. We apologised after the first staff member said we couldn’t, then she told her husband who proceeded to shout at us a minute later. Don’t go in there.
Painful service when collecting parcels - went to collect and was asked for a passport.. returned a few days later and didn’t need any ID at all. Also are sometimes confused as to which parcel company’s they are supporting.. had to negotiate to just check it was there.. which it was.
Bought a snorkel and mask but when opened it had got distorted by the heat of the 2018 summer. I didn’t have my receipt and was served by the owners wife. The owner without any questions asked if I wanted another or a refund. Exceptional polite service by the owner and his son, “learning the trade” at a young age. Went back later for a browse and was surprised by the amount of variety on the shelves. Walked out with Panama style hat exceptionaly well priced. As it is right on the seafront and although living close by I have not used this shop before. Worth a browse.
