Great clothes shop and good bargains too especially if you have a blue light card

This is the first 1 star review I have ever left. Usually I only ever leave 5 star reviews as I work in retail and have had various management and customer facing roles. I was denied an exchange for an unopened pack of underwear. I tried to exchange no less than 5 minutes after purchase. I had picked up the wrong pair as they were on the wrong shelf. I do not want a money refund just a simple exchange. The manager has even agreed with me about understanding the situation and knows the item is unopened and unused. I have been told they can't due to policy of exchanges and refunds. I have even called customer service to try explain the situation to no avail. I am more than happy to change this review to a 5 star if this issue is sorted. I find the lack of understanding petty and the implementation of this rule for this issue "jobs worthy". The staff and myself have been civil about the matter but frankly it's a bit of a joke. I guess I'll have to sell the package online. Does anyone want a brand new medium pair of men's briefs? Pictured below of evidence Lol.

Friendly staff good bargains. I got several items for my beach hoiday. Cheap and cheerful. Let's hope peacocks survive the high St massacres . Good shop with good prices.

0 atmosphere. I was the only customer in the shop. Clothes are fairly pricey considering it's fast fashion. Staff were friendly though, which is the only reason it's getting two stars.

It is what it is, cheap affordable clothing (I'm not saying fashion as it's not fashion) it's quite dated as a store and is in need of a full refurb as it's quite dreary inside. The staff were visible, but didn't interact with us (I wouldn't expect them to) Usually has lots of sale items so I wonder if it's part outlet. This would explain why it's a bit dilapidated.

So glad this place hasn't closed! Still a lot of variety for all the family. Layout has changed since my last visit with most of the ladies on the left hand side. The items I bought all fitted well. Glad to see the larger sizes in store! I couldn't see any fitting rooms, I expect this has been changed since Covid. Children's clothes are at the front of the store. I'm sorry gentlemen but I wasn't really looking where you were moved to. Men's used to be on the left side of the site and towards the middle. I think it may had been removed to the right hand side. I was only in there for a quick visit. Next visit I will take more norge.

The store itself is as every branch of Peacocks is, however I love the staff in this branch, they're always friendly and helpful. It's a joy to shop here as they make it such a great experience (thank you, girls).

Nice clothes, fit well and good for the money. Staff always friendly and helpful. Shop layout changes too often and is far too cramped, especially if you have kids and buggies etc.

  3. Tracey Black ★★★☆☆

Cluttered, always bumping into things and knocking stock off overstocked racks, not easy to navigate if you have a pram or buggy, if you are looking for something specific not always easy to find. Reasonably priced though.
