They saved our dogs life so forever grateful for that. There is a huge problem with pricing. The nurse without prompting said the price was over the top. But the choice is either the dog dies in agony or has a injection £520 and survives.

An appointment was made to see my immediately, and his examination and treatment was given with genuine care and compassion. I felt that his treatment was appropriate and had a positive outcome, and no unnecessary test or treatment where suggested or carried out. Lovely staff. Would use this practice again.

Updated a day ago Disgraceful service and care Disgraceful service and care. Our 1 yr old puppy got bitten or stung on his head?. Over the weekend he began bleeding then that bleeding turned to a mucus, it covered his head ears and neck. He was scratching frantically and crying, it was Almost like he was being cocooned. I called this awful place at approx 4am and was told by a non english lady, (wouldnt give name, so its my only way of identifying) it’s not an emergency if you came it would be 120 pounds but theres no point coming. Rang again during day after he was worse, got the same non caring attitude. Next day Sunday we just took him, price told was 280 then said I was told incorrect amount the day before. The cost was not an issue but Still saying not an emergency. When we arrived we were told we would be waiting hours !. So went home and made appointment with our wonderful proper vet. I was called in the morning and asked to bring him into his vets urgently. At the moment they have kept him in and we are at home waiting. What chance do our loved pets have if "vets now" is the ONLY out of hours care in our City. Plus if they had bothered to look at him they then want to claim your insurance for you. That would never have happened, I'm certain they would have used up his whole allowance and greedily took it all with add ons. I took a photo of him waiting but we Were told the wait would be hours! Did not even look at or touch him. He was left standing shaking & quivering, he in reception. He was confused and afraid Picture 2 was the state he was in, but you didn't look did you vets Now? Our wonderful vet peel in Beverley fixed him. I've sent in my complaint email. Please Don't reply that it's unusual just look at 1 star reviews of vets now across the UK. Thank God for his usual vet and I've since learnt there is a 24hr emergency vet at market weighton so if you have a car you never need to visit vets now if your pet can make the journey. Date of experience: 02 June 2024

This was the most traumatic experience for me and my cat after my cat had an accident. I was immediately told if I couldn't afford potentially thousands of pounds for treatment the only options given were euthanasia or surrendering him for surgery and adoption. I was not offered any alternatives to allow me to attempt to raise the money so rather than have him euthanised and undercpressure I reluctantly gave him up. He had not even been x-rayed! So no one knew the extent of his injuries. I was there 2 hours and he was only given pain relief after I'd signed him over. The following day I received a call from a cat sanctuary informing me his x-ray, was clear, no fractures meaning his injuries were merely muscular and they invited me to collect him. Id not slept all night worrying about him, not knowing what was happening and thinking I was never going to see him again! The worst experience of my life. Although I had insurance cover it only covered basics and have now taken out full insurance cover for him as I never want to go through anything like this again.

Find the customer service very rude putting the phone down when trying to explain about the bill and also that its with the pets insurance company who will be paying. All this because they never examined my pet properly the first time around just stitched him and tried to send him on his way when it was an artery he had cut so had to be put under for the second time and kept in over night when he shouldn't have had to stay in if they did their job properly. Surely a vet should know the difference between just a cut on the leg or an artery cut....

Not our usual vets as had to use them out of hours. The staff were all very kind and friendly from when we rang for advice and when we were at the practice. It wasn’t a good outcome for our dog and the staff were compassionate throughout. Would highly recommend

We were sent to Vets Now by the PDSA where our elderly Shihtzu KC have many health problems. He had a seizure that afternoon and was unable to walk properly thereon. We were told to come to them straight away, which we did. Sadly, KCs heart murmur was now severe and he was dying. We had to euthanise him there. It was heartbreaking, but all the staff and vets were first class. Very kind and compassionate to us. KC quietly slipped away as we held him.

Rang just after midnight on the 27/10/22 minutes after my jackchi had a seizure for the first time. I just wanted to say thank you to the lady we spoke to last night, you were so helpful and calming to all of us, the advice and patience you gave / showed was absolutely amazing. Honestly just wanted to say a great big thank you from all 3 of us :) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vets to anybody
