“As I was new to Hull city and I found this place cheaper than other hotels. I must say Glenn is a superb person who finds some time for his guests and deal them with a big smile and big heart. Alan is always there just on one text which is super quick. I love how beautifully they've organized this little place. The main entrance area isn't less than an antique piece of art. Amazing... For me it's 10/5 place to live. It's really near to shopping centre and water fall. Hope to see you guys next week.. thankyou so much for making such a suitable place to live for people like me”

“My beautiful keeshie has just returned home after her first ever experience at a gromers. She's been neglected by previous owner and now I'm giving her the life experiences she deserves. Couldnt recommend top dog salon any more! Staff are so kind patient and understanding i reached out on FB after seeing they had a refurbishment as was taking on bookings. Rang up had a good indepth chat with lady on the phone and she made me feel relaxed and at ease and had me booked in straight away. Keeshie arrived all happy and excited and can tell she was well loved in there. Honestly take great care of your fur babies. The best comment "keeshie was really good. Hard work but really good" like they new here all her life after a hour spent with them she's not keeshie without hard work being next to her name. Wouldn't have it any other way. Can't wait to have this place as her regular pamper sessions. Your babies are in good hands. Every staff member has a heart of gold thankyou”

“Haven veterinary group took care of my rat pickle until we unfortunately made the decision to put him to sleep. They were always very helpful in getting us last minute appointments and listening to his issues. They were very thorough throughout his treatment. His euthanasia was also handled with remorse and care. It made an incredibly hard day, a tiny bit easier. I also received a thoughtful card from a few weeks later. Incredibly kind of them.”

“Such a amazing place! I highly recommend if you want to send your pup/dog to a daycare whilst you work or attend a event, really fast responses. Send you updates of your pet through out the day, the ladies are so lovely that work there and are highly professional. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, worth every penny. “Peejay pet superstore is our go to animal food store. They have the biggest range in the area. The choice of greyhound food is very good all clearly labelled With different protein levels to suit your dog. The chicken feed is also excellent, and There is a good choice of ferret food as well. It's a nice well laid out store. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The big sacks of pet food we buy are very heavy, so if you spend over £40 you can just call them with your order and they will deliver it to you for free.”

“Both our Rabbits are currently registered here, and though you might wonder about the quality of a veterinarian practice within a pet shop, all the staff I've ever had dealings with here are genuinely lovely and care so much about the animals they see. Always a friendly face on reception and the vets themselves are fantastic with our pets. Obviously this practice is aimed at smaller animals due to its size but I can't recommend them enough. Excellent plans available for small animals to help save money on potential visits. Update - pleased to report they're also brilliant with cats. Adopted our ex-stray house cat during lockdown and he's been very happy with his treatment from the vet so far.”

“I cannot thank Vets4Pets and especially Irina Jakovleva enough for saving my dog’s life. After being told by the PDSA that my only option was to put her to sleep due to a wound and infection, I felt completely heartbroken. “We stayed in the hotel whilst visiting a family member who was in hospital. The room was very clean and cosey and the staff were exceptional! They were always friendly and went out of their way to help us and solve any problems we had, including posting our spare car keys to us after we left them behind. The hotel is close to the town centre without being too close and parking is no problem.”

“What a fabulous team. My Duchess is an English bull terrier who's 'challenging ' to say the least ! Lovely bath and nails done all for a tenner. She still smells lovely now - 10 days later and her coats great - sorted all the moulting out. Definitely going back. Very impressed x”

“The pdsa is a charity and should be treated as such The work they do is brilliant and should not be compared to a private vets . It can be extremely busy at times so waiting can be quite long also remember urgent cases get priority please be patient”

“Stayed here for one night 1st September for the first time. Great location for us just a minutes walk from train station too. All staff very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel from check in to reception and breakfast staff all fantastic. Room nice and comfy bed. Had early morning breakfast able to grab cereal and toast and a coffee. Would definitely come back and stay again.”

“My wife and I found ourselves hungry and tired from walking around the marina area which is a revelation to see it so much changed. (I am 81 tears old and was born in the city of Hull and know a lot about the place). We called in at the hotel to see if we could get a light lunch and were greeted warmly and our dog was welcomed as well. The meal was superb and the pizza was by far the best I had ever been served anywhere. The staff were helpful and the place was warm and clean. We were served by a guy called Adam. “From the first phone call with Andrew who catered for my requests upon this visist. I Stayed here whilst on a driving course.... The staff were lovely. Special shout out for Lindsey at Breakfast who was very warm and welcoming every morning, even at 630!. Also the young lady on the leisure centre desk who remembered me and my room number even after one visit. Too employees who just go that extra bit to make guests feel welcome. Food was lovely with a great atmosphere. Well done Village Hull....”

“Could not fault the staff. The day before we stayed we had a phone call to ask if it was a special occasion, it was my daughters birthday, they put treats in my daughters room and gave her a card. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. This is the best Premier Inn we have stayed in and that is down to the staff.”
