“Recently stayed for 11 weeks on a business trip from New Zealand with 2 work colleges, beds were amazing , shower was fantastic. Great little kitchen and loved the radio. Having a pin code to enter the rooms is so nice , no need to worry about a key. Would definitely stay there again if I ever return to Hull.We absolutely loved walking into our rooms on a Monday after the team serviced the rooms. Thank you Jodie and team for making our stay a comfortable one.”

“As I was new to Hull city and I found this place cheaper than other hotels. I must say Glenn is a superb person who finds some time for his guests and deal them with a big smile and big heart. Alan is always there just on one text which is super quick. I love how beautifully they've organized this little place. The main entrance area isn't less than an antique piece of art. Amazing... For me it's 10/5 place to live. It's really near to shopping centre and water fall. Hope to see you guys next week.. thankyou so much for making such a suitable place to live for people like me”

“Once again we left our mainecoons with John. We have used this cattery for a number of years now and would never use anywhere else. The pens are spotless and it is very homely with a radio playing in the background. My elderly mainecoon suffers from separation anxiety, but this has never been an issue when at gilberdyke cat hotel. There attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you John for looking after them so well again.”

“Such a amazing place! I highly recommend if you want to send your pup/dog to a daycare whilst you work or attend a event, really fast responses. Send you updates of your pet through out the day, the ladies are so lovely that work there and are highly professional. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, worth every penny. My pup comes home each time very happy and one tired boy. X”

“We stayed in the hotel whilst visiting a family member who was in hospital. The room was very clean and cosey and the staff were exceptional! They were always friendly and went out of their way to help us and solve any problems we had, including posting our spare car keys to us after we left them behind. The hotel is close to the town centre without being too close and parking is no problem.”

“Woofles is a splendid hotel, my two Cocker spaniels are happy to spend time in the beautifully appointed facility. They enjoy their play times in the secure field, having plenty of space to run around and explore. One of my Spaniels is very nervous, with the time and patience given to her on her first visit she settled and now loves going.”

All members of staff were polite, friendly, and demonstrated excellent customer care and service. In particular, I would like to highlight the exceptional service provided by Dominic, who went above and beyond on several occasions. On my first night, when my room was uncomfortably warm, Dominic promptly assisted with sorting out the air conditioning and personally delivered a fan to ensure my comfort. On the second night, while I was at the bar, he kindly arranged for a pizza for other guests after the kitchen had closed – a thoughtful gesture that really showcased his commitment to guest satisfaction. “Stayed here for one night 1st September for the first time. Great location for us just a minutes walk from train station too. All staff very friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel from check in to reception and breakfast staff all fantastic. Room nice and comfy bed. Had early morning breakfast able to grab cereal and toast and a coffee. Would definitely come back and stay again.”

“Missus and son were able to go for a walk on the Bridge. Don't linger too long on the bridge though - the cops come and ask if you're ok, just minding your own business having a sit down. I guess there's a lot of jumpers.”

“My wife and I found ourselves hungry and tired from walking around the marina area which is a revelation to see it so much changed. (I am 81 tears old and was born in the city of Hull and know a lot about the place). We called in at the hotel to see if we could get a light lunch and were greeted warmly and our dog was welcomed as well. The meal was superb and the pizza was by far the best I had ever been served anywhere. The staff were helpful and the place was warm and clean. We were served by a guy called Adam. “We attended my sisters 60th birthday party at Embassy on Saturday night and would like to say what a fantastic evening it was from start to finish. The room was set out lovely with ample seating to accommodate all the guests, Louise ensured additional chairs were available as guests arrived. Even though there was a high demand for service at the bar, with the odd undesirable being rude and demanding, the bar staff handled things remarkably well and performed their duties professionally at all times in a polite and friendly manner. The prices at the bar were very reasonable and the standard of the alcoholic drinks were good. We were at a table of 16 and there was not one word of complaint regarding the price or standard. The buffet was plentiful and constantly re-stocked as the food was consumed. The choice of food was fantastic and a high standard and very enjoyable. There were many overloaded plates around the room. Once again from our large table of guests not one negative comment was made. The music from the DJ was responsive to the taste of the guests and his playlist accommodated everyone, this was evident from the constant flow of people enjoying themselves on the dance floor. The atmosphere on the night was very relaxed and comfortable and it seemed that the vast majority of people were having a fantastic night to celebrate my sister Paulines 60th birthday Would like to thank Embassy club and all the staff on shift that night for making the night special for my sister‘s birthday”

“From the first phone call with Andrew who catered for my requests upon this visist. I Stayed here whilst on a driving course.... The staff were lovely. Special shout out for Lindsey at Breakfast who was very warm and welcoming every morning, even at 630!. Also the young lady on the leisure centre desk who remembered me and my room number even after one visit. Too employees who just go that extra bit to make guests feel welcome. Food was lovely with a great atmosphere. Well done Village Hull....”

“Great price, really nice staff, no noise, the room we had was very space, fresh and there were two toilets which was quite convenient. TV in both bedroom and living room so we could be flexible with where we were. We also appreciated the water tank just outside the room, much needed! And very central so just walking for around the corner will lead you to shops and the malls. Highly recommend!”

“Could not fault the staff. The day before we stayed we had a phone call to ask if it was a special occasion, it was my daughters birthday, they put treats in my daughters room and gave her a card. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. This is the best Premier Inn we have stayed in and that is down to the staff.”

“Stayed 1 night here on the 18th July. Hotel easy to find . Price of parking was very reasonably for 24hrs. On arrival staff were very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond. Rooms were very clean and tidy . Breakfast was continental .Good variety of food . The Italian restaurant was so delicious and had an offer on so very reasonable. We will stay here again”

“Had a very pleasant stay. I stayed for 10 days. The price was reasonable.The room was spacious and clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. When I had an issue with hot water in my room they let me use the shower in the adjacent room. Overall had a very good experience and would highly recommend.”

“What a place! We've been accessing the training school which has seen our little Chester come on leaps and bounds and thought why not try the day care too. Leanne managed to get us in on very short notice which was amazing and so helpful. Whenever Chester goes to Noah's Ark, he doesn't want to come home. We have to carry him out the door. The enrichment and care the dogs receive is second to none. And the report card you get at the end of every day is very informative and a lovely way of letting owners know what your little pups are up to. We can't wait to get his prom photo soon! Thanks for all the care you give our little pup. If anyone ever wonders if this place is worth it then take our word for it and book in!”

“Amazing stay in the Humber Lofts for my other half’s birthday. Was good process of checking in. Knew information and where to part before hand. Apartment itself was really spacious, very clean and well decorated. Bathroom was amazing. Will definitely be back”

“What a fabulous hidden gem, proper Yorkshire hospitality , excellent breakfast with butchers sausages and bacon cooked to perfection. Lovely lady owner who put us in a very large room with a very comfortable bed and some beautiful pieces of furniture. The bathroom is so nice, huge walk in shower , there's a fridge, microwave and TV in the room also. Parking is provided too . We will be back :)”

“Eaten here now on a few occasions. The food here is excellent. The steak pie is to die for and had the fish yesterday. Best piece of fish I have had in ages. Not greasey one bit. Hate fish when all wet and sloppy. Not here it was cooked perfect. Def be back again.”
