First time using Abbey Veterinary Centre (as new to the area). The staff were lovely and helpful and took great care with our kitten . Not sure how Poppy (kitten) rates them as she hasn't said, however she seems happy - apart from the radical hair cut (where she was shaved) lol

After Months & Months Of Vet Trips Complaints My Dog Wasnt Her Usual Self Coughing It Got Brushed Of As Kennel Cough Skin Allergies Food Allergies Thirsty More Than Usual & So On Her Back Legs Was A Little Wobbly They Prescribed Her Loxicom & Pardale V Along With Gabapentin Within 3 Days She Was Dying I Trusted My Gut Instinct For A Second Opinion & Rushed Her To Wolds Vets Within Seconds He Knew She Had Kidney Disease/ Failure Shes Now Got To Be Put To Sleep My Family Is Distraught! Right Before Christmas We Are Loosing Our Family Pet Who's More Than Just A Dog To Us! I Truly Believe If This Was Picked Up When I Complained The First Few Times She Would Of Never Been Prescribed Loxicom A Drug That Should Never Be Given To A Dog With Kidney Disease She Would Still Be With Us For A Little Longer Do Not Register Your Pets With This Vets Practice All They Care About Is Money Were Is The Compassion For Animals Seriously? You Made Me Feel Like A Nuisance When I Knew In My Gut My Dog Was Seriously Unwell & Something Was Wrong

Β£660 - Outrageous price for emergency office visit. I called late Saturday night I had an emergency with my dog, I was told because I'm not registered with Abbey I would be charged Β£660 for an exam and anything done would incure additional fees. That is a ludicrous price. I called East Lincs vets who also offer emergency service (in Louth) for Β£240 unregistered!!

When I say Jacqueline has saved my dogs life, twice, I mean it literally. A couple of years ago Luna (French Bulldog) was referred here due to a bulging disc in her neck. Jacqueline updated me everyday, whilst I was on holiday, and even attended the practice on her day off so she could check on Luna herself. In August I reached out to Abbey Vets again due to my local vets telling me Luna wouldn't get better, after they'd treated her 3 times for what was initially believed to be an ear infection. 11 weeks, after attending Abbey Vets, Luna is very almost back to herself and now no longer has a head tilt, all thanks to Jacqueline. Abbey Vets aren't local to me but are the only vets I trust with my dogs. I cannot thank Jacqueline enough for everything she has done for me and Luna. She listened to me, was honest and straight to the point. Thank you Jacqueline and Abbey Vets!
