Just popped in for a chat before out Labrador Molly heads for the day next week. Very friendly staff, very clean and well structured to all our dogs needs. Perfect place for us and Molly as it's close to Beverley and fun for the dogs.

Couldn’t be happier with our experience with Leconfield Kennels and Cattery. We adopted a nervous European street dog and started using the day care boarding under recommendation from a friend. Nigel was so helpful every step of the way, offering much appreciated advice and answering inane questions for two first time dog owners. Violet has made so much progress and adores going to daycare. She is beside herself with excitement when we walk in and is always so disappointed when I come to pick her up, which is as much of a glowing review as a dog can offer. Have also had nothing but positive experiences with overnight boarding for both the dog and cat. Highly recommend Nigel, Joanne and the team.

I have used other kennels in the past but Leconfield are by far the best. My dogs have been coming here for many years now and the care they receive is outstanding. I can tell that everyone who is a part of Leconfield Kennels. are all genuine animal lovers. I have no worries when I leave my little elderly dog, as she trots off with no hesitation. I have also used the grooming parlour and my dog looked lovely after her groom. The lady took really great care of her and did a beautiful job. Thank you to all the team for your care and hard work

The Team here are excellent. We took our Cat Bella for a short 2 night stay. We were apprehensive at first as at another kennels/ Cattery Bella didn’t eat, she refused to use the litter tray and came home with a UTI. Nige, his lovely wife, and the team here are brilliant. Bella was relaxed, all toilet motions and food intake was documented and she came away happy and healthy. We will use these guys again and again. Thank you.

Nigel and jo are the most amazing people they run a great business but most of all the really care for the animals in their care. They have staff who are passionate about their jobs which makes all the difference to their amazing kennels. Vinnie my dog has just spent 3 weeks with them and was not , as it turns out in the best of health but thankful with all the love and care he received I still have him . They have turned Leconfield kennels in to a 5* holiday and day care for your dog or cat ! I wouldn't go any where else x

A big thank you to Nigel, Joanne & family and staff for the excellent service they provided to our French Bulldog called Bella. Bella has been well cared for throughout her 17 months attendance at doggy day care. The outdoor and indoor play areas have enabled her to integrate and socialise with her doggie companions during the day. All the staff are friendly and take time to play with the dogs when in the play area. Nigel & Joanne have made many improvements updating and modernising the facilities since they took ownership. They have transformed the kennels to a high standard, providing a happy clean environment for the dogs. We would highly recommend Leconfield Kennels & Cattery. Carole & Guy

My 4 dogs have been boarding at Leconfield Kennels over the years. The staff are lovely, they really care for your pets, giving them plenty of love. What shows most of all though, is how excited my dogs are whenever I drop them off to stay! They literally run through the doors knowing exactly where they are! So highly recommend for sure!

We have used Leconfield over the past 14 months when we have gone away for long weekends. In recent months their overnight policy has changed meaning a days boarding is only 22 hours and not 24 hours. The drop off is from 2pm and pick up by 12 noon the following day. Subsequently, this means you tend to have to pay for additional ‘doggie day care’ or an extra night. We have had an experience where our dog wasn’t up to date with his vaccinations which is our fault and we spoke with the kennel the following morning to let them know and see if we could leave the money on account for another stay later in the year. The lady wasn’t in a position to make that decision so I asked for a manager to call me back. They didn’t call me back but text my partner to say they wouldn’t refund any money, offer an alternative night or discuss any other option. The fact they couldn’t be bothered to call me isn’t great and the lack of flexibility at the kennel in recent months means we will have to find an alternative kennel going forward.. Unfortunately, this is a view shared by relatives who have had to rely on us to pick their dog up when they have been away to avoid additional charges. Appreciate they are running a business but it’s a shame they couldn’t even phone as requested to have a conversation. Not great customer service!
