   I would never go here again nor recommend it to anyone. I have had two appointments with Hounds both times for nail clipping, each time I mentioned that my pooch is reactive to other dogs and when is a quiet time, I take my dog at the time they recommended but on arrival the tiny box room at the back of the shop has already 2 dogs in there. Thinking nothing of it "they know what their doing" I go to have a mooch around the town only to have a call 5 minutes later saying she is ready to collect, where you could hear the anxiety in the groomers voice. Once I was there to collect the woman stated to be careful because she will be sore, which I thought was odd and once home I took a look at her claws and all had been cut too far back and you could see each quick had been cut and they packed it with whatever they pack it with! So my dog must have been in a great deal of pain but her breed and most dogs do not show it. You do not do that to any animal! Now, my dogs quick has grown so fast that she cannot have a good trim as the quick is almost the same length as the nail itself as it would be after such a brutal "trim" from the groomer at hounds. Also, my mother took her dog for one of there pamper packages they have and I was to collect. I received a call to go to the shop to help them trim the hair around his mouth. What I saw was heartbreaking, they had no calming methods at all and were forcing to cut the hair when he was nipping and in obvious distress. You would think to stop in that situation. I do not know what the good reviews are about because 3 occasions have been bad! People with the good reviews must have docile dogs, I'm sure of it. Because they are in no way trained to groom dogs that need a little extra attention. Also not respectful to owners requests and advice either. And all in such a tiny room, cramped. I fear for the next pooch unnecessarily harmed ie nail clipping by these people!

   An absolute fabulous groomers and shop for our best buddies! They do such an amazing job with the services they provide, they are so helpful, kind and caring towards all the dogs. My dog absolutely loves going and always comes out smelling and looking beautiful. I can not recommend enough! Great prices too. Best groomers ever!

   Best pet shop in town. Staff are always willing to help and they are full of expert advice. Whether you go in or order online service is always five star. They also do little events which are great and always good value for money. Highly recommend their grooming service they always take such good care of the dogs they are grooming and they all come out looking beautiful.
