Not the cheapest Indian but worth every penny. The food was fabulous as were the staff. It was a bit early for any atmosphere but the food more than made up for it

Average food, rice andante , as we had just finished our main course, we was asked to move as they had a large party coming in, we had not finished our drinks , and apart from the back yard , no other seats available. Very Poor customer service. Never Again

Just went here with my wife and son, best mixy I have had since moving over this way, butter chicken was to die for! Everything was cooked to perfection! This will be our new weekly mixy. 2 young lads behind the bar were great and very welcoming! And one of them was a fellow Villa fan! Thanks all see you soon !

Fantastic Indian Food in a Great Pub Setting! We visited the Shakespeare Inn and were really impressed with the Indian menu. The mixed grill was packed with flavour — perfectly cooked meats, tender and well-spiced. The curry was just as delicious, rich and full of authentic taste. Great portions, good value, and friendly service made it a brilliant experience. We’ll definitely be back for more!

This was by far the best curry we have had in a long time, if not ever. The staff were friendly and polite. There isn't a huge amount of room around much of the tables inside, so accessibility may be an issue for some, but that would be the only criticism I could make. I would definitely recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to going back.

Nice clean place to have some good indian food. Nothing too spicy so good for the kids. They can do chips and other kids food if not into Indian food. Good portion size and freshly made.

My new favourite place for a fab curry! Chicken and keema special was delicious and everything friends had looked tasty too. Even if not wanting s full meal, masala chips are a perfect beer snack.

We come here a lot these days! Always friendly staff, amazing food, probably the best Indian food we’ve ever had. Not too expensive either generally. Thank you! (P.S. the Nepalese chips are a must!)

What a delightful pub/ restaurant. Great Indian dishes had both depth of flavour and enough heat to appreciate the spices. My wife and I had totally different food yet were equally excellent. Service was also very impressive despite how busy it was. Definitely a step up for Newport and worthy of a return visit soon.
