   A few years ago, I bought a beautiful Platinum Diamond engagement ring for my wife. As a student at the time, I managed to save everything I could and put it into what I could afford at the time. The two men I dealt with were absolutely fantastic and the entire experience was something that remained with me, and would have for the rest of my life. However. My wife recently went to Segal's again recently with the ring. She was greeted by a middle aged lady and told her she was interested in potentially selling this ring (upgrading later) and that it was bought for almost £900. The response she received was absolutely disgusting. "I don't think so. It won't have been anywhere near that sweetie". Once assured it was, the woman wasn't even willing to entertain the idea unless a receipt was produced. My wife, having our toddler with her at the time, didn't take the bait and just left. Well, here's the bloody receipt. I hope that woman will reflect on her actions, how it's sullied once beautiful memories. We will now have it appraised elsewhere to determine whether Segal's ripped us off back then, or tried ripping us off this time. In either case, extremely poor customer service. Avoid.

   Lovely ammolite yellow gold ring purchased from this seller. This is a gemstone uncommonly found in UK jewellery so I was thrilled to find a UK shop that had something I've wanted a while now. Very prompt dispatch time, lovely packaging and ring in it's box arrived in a very sturdy postage packet. This is second time I've bought from Segal's. Good communication at time of dispatch.

   Amazing service! I found the perfect wedding anniversary gift on the Segals website – a gorgeous preloved necklace that happened to be in their Grimsby store. I sent an email to ask if I could view it in Hull instead and they got back to me really quickly. Just two days later, it was ready for me to see, much closer to home! They even offered to shorten the necklace for me, and suggested using the leftover silver to make matching earrings – such a thoughtful idea! Everything was done in no time. Great staff, great service, great price. Thank you Great prices, lovely people, and fantastic service – I’ll definitely be back!

   My absolute favourite jewellery shop ever! The window display in their new establishment is beautiful, it’s very hard not to be tempted in! Once inside I’m always greeted with a smile by one of the very friendly, knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help. The prices are very fair and their new shop is fabulous, with a wide choice of new and pre-owned jewellery. I would recommend Segal’s to anyone!    The customer service was fantastic and the ring I ordered was gorgeous, I had to have it resized but it came well within the time they estimated. The ring was absolutely beautifully packaged and I received an email asking if I'd received the ring and if I was happy with it, which I thought was a really nice touch. I would most definitely shop with this company again
