   I had contacted Nidd's a few months ago as one of my earrings had broken in a really awkward place, and after trying to contact the maker of the earrings but had no response what so ever, the team at Nidd's pulled through; they fixed my earring with a great turn around time, at a low cost & also professionally cleaned! I would 100% recommend Nidd's to anybody, they are professional and lovely, and if I need anything else jewellery wise I will definitely be back. Thank you!

   My partner recently went in for an engagement ring (without my knowledge), he was helped selecting a beautiful diamond and then had it crafted into a perfect ring. I did need it resizing and Lisa was so helpful in doing so and at a very reasonable price. I can’t recommend Nidd & Son enough for their level of service and quality. Thank you so much!

   I had the most wonderful experience at Nidd & Son! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and incredible customer service. The staff (especially Lisa!) was knowledgeable, attentive, and helped me find the perfect piece of jewellery for my special occasion. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail and willingness to work with me to customise a design that suited my taste. The craftsmanship is exceptional, and I can tell that the pieces are made with love and care.    I've just collected my wedding ring after leaving it to be enlarged. It has a pattern and indentations on it so we were unsure as to how it would look. You cannot tell! Its been enlarged by a size and a half .The work is fantastic. We are very pleased

   I recently took two watches in for a valuation. The team at Nidd & Sons could not have been anymore helpful, especially given the low value of my transaction. All the staff were very polite and the job was completed much quicker than I expected. We even got a follow up call to make sure we were happy with everything. 5 star service all the way, highly recommended!

   I had an accident and my engagement ring saved me loosing my finger. Unfortunately this meant my ring needed to be repaired. We was told it could be done in store so took it in. We were then told it needed to be sent off to be fixed and someone would call in a week with a quote for the repair. 2 weeks passed and still no quote! Partner rang up to see what was going on. A week later we finally had a quote after waiting 3 weeks and was told it should be repaired and back by the weekend. 3 months we had to chase them about the repair! I was so happy to get it back on my finger. Then the problems started! Within 24 hours 4 stones were lost from the ring! I had the center stone reset. They had to replace a claw. I noticed when looking closer at my ring when they replaced the claw but 2 claws from the lower set row of stones were now missing, the stone was lost. This claw also has a very sharp edge to it now and catches on all my clothing. Obviously with my hand getting crushed I needed the band reshaping again. This looked fine until I noticed stones falling out. Yes the reshaped it but they didn't reset the stones straight in the claws lof the band, which meant 3 more stones were lost. There are tool marks on the ring that hadn't been polished out. you can see where silver has run when fixing the main stone claws, they tried cleaning the run but resulted in one side of the band being made thinner when removing the run. also resulting in sharp claws all down one side of my ring. I'm extremely disappointed with with the repair and service and obviously the further damage made to my engagement ring. I won't be returning to nids again after this. I didn't even notify them because why would I trust them to fix the issues again after this. My partner is now having to save to buy me a replacement as this particular ring was limited.

   If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Absolutely incredible service. Only wanted a ring resized but was given a service warranting a sale of thousands. Lovely lovely girl, sorry I didn't get your name. Was told that it may take a bit longer for resizing given the times we are in. That was Saturday and I have been to collect it today, Tuesday. Amazing. Then to cap it all I mentioned that I needed to buy a mask for a bus journey and this lovely girl gave me one. Went way past the extra mile. Brilliant service, brilliant staff. Couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend this jewellers.

   I have used their shop several times and had jewellery repairs done. Staff are always very helpful, explain everything, keep you up to date with the progress and everything done in a very timely fashion. We also purchased my eternity ring from here, where they sourced different designs and even got extra stones put in once I had picked the design I liked most. All this was done within about 3 weeks start to finish - just in time for going away to renew our wedding vows after 25 years together. Absolutely lovely staff and service.
