   My husband was told if he purchased 2 presents for Christmas, he could bring whatever one i didnt like of the 2 back. But this wasn't the case. They don't do refunds. I could have a credit note but they didnt offer the full value back. It was all coated metal and RZ. They shouldnt call themselves jewellers if they only sell fashion accessories. I looked to see if I could get something else so I looked outside in the window and I saw the manager press her thumb into my earing. I thought she was checking it over in the shop and I didn't twig until I got home. In the end I decided I was better off keeping them to sell them on but can't she has pushed the stud down at the back. She was the only person to handle them! Underhanded!

   I called Warren James to check on my engagement ring order. Which I think as a customer who paid for an expensive product is entitled to do. It was 6 weeks ago when the order was placed and since I was told could take anything from 6 to 8 weeks, it was normal to call and check for something special and which I want to wear since I was asked to be married! The lady on the phone seemed not pleased to answer a simple call from a customer. She told I would have been told it could take up to 8 weeks, which I never said I wasn’t since I was only checking for my product arrival. I mistakenly told her I was informed it could arrive between 4 to 8 weeks, hence why checking and then she “not so kindly” corrected me saying you were not told that as we say 6 to 8 weeks, to my pleasure I reminded her she just told me it has been 6 weeks and could take up 8, so I was in my rights to check, as we reached 6 weeks! She then went on to say when arrive we call you, trying to imply do not call gain we will ring you! When did customer service of a well known business turned into this? It feels like they are doing us a favour, talking over us when we are just trying to check on a product! Safe to say I will not be buying from them ever again and neither will recommend. Very poor customer service, shame when it is for something so special to the client!

   Was gifted a pair of earrings with faulty clasps on the 31st August, the earrings predictably fell apart, one fell out completely, took the remaining jewellery back with receipt within the warranty period to be told actually the earrings should be regularly ‘tweaked’ and that the fault was all my own because I’d washed my face wearing them and they had gotten wet - these are 9ct gold earrings. When I asked to take it further was told ‘I’m the store manager and I said they’re not faulty so you’re not getting them replaced’. Poor quality product, poorer quality staff, not a surprise with such a monstrous store manager.

   This is fantastic jewellery store, with plenty to offer. The quality is amazing, with many items like earrings being better than other jewellery shops. My wife has earrings she purchased from a well known store and yet they have made her ear sore with the earrings colour going dull, like a cheap good coated pair, yet earrings from Warren James have kept their colour and not affected her ears at all... And they were cheaper!! An amazing store, with amazing product offerings and very helpful, friendly staff ... Personally I won't use any other!

   Good value for money and I normally go here for that reason. My wife wanted to pick a ring for our 6th wedding anniversary. Something around £40. Plenty to choose from but her size wasnt available in the one she chosen. There was no offer to find another ring in her size so we went to another jeweller who's sizes was completely different. The money wasnt an issue as we bought one for £160. We just felt there was little effort for what ever reason we aren't sure. Maybe we didnt look the part.
