Had my sons 6th Birthday Party here & it was brilliant. We were deligated a member of staff who oversaw the party, topped up drinks for the children, offered to do party games, very attentive. Hall size was amazing, lots of space and soft play equipment, bouncy castle was huge. Staff grouped the children together at the end of the party for a photo. Food room is a good size with plenty of selection. The chicken nuggets being the children and adults favourite. They even added chocolate bars and a free swim pass into the party bags. They even gave my son a personal birthday card which was a lovely touch with a family swim pass on the back. Overall worth the money. My only issue would be that I was only given 10 minutes before the party started to get decorations, party bags, cake etc set up & some parents had already arrived for the party. Would book again and recommend to other parents! Thank you for making my sons birthday party a memorable one!

It’s been along time since I last used the leisure centre but it’s pretty good! It had a doctors survey attached the library a pool indddd two one girlies one for adults and an extensive gym with the usual treadmills and free weights, TrX bands ( excellent toll to shape up and vibrating plate machine! Now this is one of the best effective machine to use to tone up. A smith machine for squats and an assisted pull up machine for dips and lat pull ups. Even a body trad machine to scan and show you ur bodymass index and weight loss! And best of all the cafe for ur snacks and health eggs on brown toast with beans! Changing rooms for all And disabled accessible too. They have gym instructors and pts and assistants on hand to offer advice and guidance. There is a lift to aces the first floor.

Tidy, clean leisure centre with good safe equipment & regular soft play sessions for the grandchildren. Good inexpensive family cafe with decent cafe food too! On the down side, In 2 out of 4 recent visits, the cafe service was interrupted 1] "due to staff training" from 12.30pm.... (dreadful timing for leisurecentre users!). On another, 2] the till/p.o.s. system in the Cafe packed up for about 20 mins during the height of lunch service, locking the till closed & stopping all service.

Sports facilities absolutely brilliant. Classes are just as good. 10/10 how organised it is. The Staff are all really friendly, helpful and great customer service skills. Not so sure on the pilates teacher! Think she could work on her attitude as well as how she articulates herself! The Café staff also Just seem miserable and lack customer service skills. However, I have to give credit to a lady called Sandra she has been really polite and welcoming more then once. Which is why I asked her name. The Library is brilliantly organised and again staff lovely and friendly. The sessions at the library for children is brilliant, all singing along which is lovely to see. All in all brilliant place to go just personally I think a few members of staff maybe should do a customer service course.

We took out daughters to the SEN swimming session hosted by Maxi Fun Club on Friday night. Loved it. The place is clean, staff are friendly. Goggles are a little expensive compared to elsewhere for the same product but all in all, we'll be back for sure.

Everything you need under one roof. Swimming, large pool and never too full. The gym, very spacious lots of equipment. The library which has little clubs. Reading clubs for adults, lego club for kids. The cafe is lovely, fairly expensive for a cafe bur very tasty food. All staff are friendly and helpful. I go often to the soft play they hold. Brilliant complex.

Not been swimming in a long time, came with my daughter and we had a nice time together. The pools are the same as they've always been even when I used to come as a child. But they're maintained well and it is a nice clean area both in the pool a a the changing area.

I think that Haltemprice is a wonderful place, so much for people to do. It is very clean the staff are always helpful. I am doing a course on getting fit for surgery. My instructor is Lewis who has been very professional, kind and reassuring. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I would definitely recommend the gym it has the most amazing selection of gym equipment and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. My thanks to you all.
