   This is a lovely natural park, situated at the bottom of Station Road near the entrance to Weetabix. In the summer it's a good place for children to play by the weir. You can see Kingfishers and numerous other wildlife here 2025 edit: It's sadly been left to go very wild these last few years. Now overrun with nettles that have choked out a lot of the native plants and even the sapling that have been planted. In need of sorting out

   This is a really good Pocket Park. Well kept and tidy. Pic-nic table can be found near the entrance, along with benches scattered around the park to sit on. There is a litter bin, but no bin for dog poo. Signage is a huge plackard on the enterence gate - very colourful. This Pocket Park also has a stream running through it and the sound of water is so therapeutic. A great place to walk your dog - just remember to bring your dog poo bags with you. A great Pocket Park to visit.

   Plenty open space. Nice for a walk, with or without a dog. It can be very muddy in places partly due to roaming horses. The horses don't seem bothered about you or your dog. On street parking is available though at busy times it can be a little walk to the entrance.

   Beautiful little gem tucked away for paddling in the river for the kids on a hot day. Great place for meeting other dog walkers. Also have perfect view of trains going past up close just other side of the river which my son loves to watch.

   Beautifully peaceful. Good for a meander or a dog walk also good for kids to let off some steam. The river is clean and clear with aquatic life to see, lobsters, fish etc. Plenty of seats and benches for resting or just simply taking in the beautiful surroundings. Majority of people who visit are very friendly along with their dogs. The upkeep of the park is excellent, no rubbish or bags of dog poop anywhere. Highly recommended to anyone.
