   Well equipped leisure centre. Reception was refreshed recently. Good pool. Would benefit from installation of starting blocks to support race training. Unfortunately swim changing hasn't been refreshed and is a bit smelly due to proximity to toilets.

   Not sure what the same person who wrote the 1 star review is on about lol. I take my children 3 times a week for swimming lessons and rookie life guard training. Teachers and staff are always friendly and happy to help we have been going for 5 years and had no issues. The showers could do with an update but never seen mould!. Can’t be that bad if the lessons are always full and have a massive swimming club.

   My son has been attending swimming lessons at Stantonbury and has made excellent progress. The swimming teachers have all been patient and really encouraging, always friendly and provide good feedback. Reception staff are always helpful with changing lessons and again are always friendly with a smile when we arrive. I would highly recommend swimming lessons here !

   Disgusting place please avoid the staff are rude they have mould growing on the showers and they charge you extra fees for no reasons they just want to keep the money for themselves the floor has dirt on it the toilet is horrible to look at the staff just come and sign the sheet next to the toilet and they don't care about the mould growing on the showers this is the worst leisure centre I have been to my children go to David Lloyds but they liked to come here as there friends go here and when my son went to shower I saw the mould and it made me feel sick please avoid and let the council know so they can check this out this place should be closed down. avoid!!!!!

   Leisure centre has been improved over the years. Both indoors courts have been resurfaced, lighting replaced so indoor sports hall is as good as anywhere else..

   Gym is too expensive for what you get. Parking is a nightmare. Too busy. You can not get in without login at reception first so you have to queue up for a very long time before you can get in. Very dated equipment. Very few slot for swimming. Classes have to be pre-booked and you are not guaranty a place. The toilets are not very clean in the swimming area, it doesn’t smell nice at all. It really put you off. Not a good gym.

   I'm a very highly qualified lifeguard and have previously worked for several years in swimming pools, and a captain of the RLSS rescue boats. This pool is the worst in terms of staff, they bully and harass members of the public (even with young children). The staff make up rules to annoy anyone they feel like bullying, and the management do not investigate this. This review has been created following 3 visits to the pool, each visit showed a toxic environment created by the staff. The pool itself is nice, a bit shallow for serious swimming. Recommend using a different pool.

   (Swimming pool only) Took the family to Stantonbury for a swim. We all really enjoyed it. Decent facilities. Pool was perfect temperature. Friendly staff and life guards. Will be back again soon.
