I use the gym 3 times a week usually 6-7am There arenβt enough weight benches and often the cleaning wipes are not stocked there always seems to be an issue with the tvs too I would love the gym to be open later than 3 on a weekend and open earlier than 8 Itβs a nightmare parking on a Saturday morning with swimming lessons park run etc

A decent swim in a quiet 20m pool. 4 wide lanes for lane swimming, with no issue overtaking due to the space. Warm temperature in the pool and it was bright and clean. The mixed communal shower area wasn't that great, as it was pot luck trying to find a warm one with decent pressure. I would return though due to the quality of the pool.

I use this facility for swimming, in general staff are great and very friendly and helpfull. There is always on though, just one receptionist who seems to like to talk down to people and quit offensive in her attitude. For somebody who is customer facing she is most unsuitable. She seems not to like people, is she in the right job.

Have been members of this gym for many years and while the location is nice and in general the whole of the facility seems to be good, in the last few years we have noticed some of the issues with the way this place function. First, during covid times, the decision was made to shorten opening hours which has been sustained with an excuse that there was little interest to keep the gym opened between 15:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays/Sundays. There are alot of people that work shifts and to these people extra hour on the weekend could easily mean training or no training. Gym closes at 15:00 while the facility is opened till 16:00. If someone stays few minutes over 15:00 there is a memeber of the staff that is coming in to remaind us the gym is closed, making us feel as we are stealing the time of those that work at the hub...at the same time facility's staff usually starts to clean the gym 20 mins ahead of the closing time making those that train there feel that they should be rushing towards the exit door. Another issue is with the Junior's Gym. Brigg has population of 5500 people and their North Lincs Leisure Centre runs 4 seasions a week for kids, while Barton - Baysgarth Leisure Centre has a population of 12000 people and there are only 2 sessions a week for up to 6 children per session! That translates to maximum of 12 kids training once a week or 6 kids training twice a week. Explanation is given that it is difficult to find a staff to accomodate any more gym seasions but at the same time we are told that simply there is no demand. When we asked about the booking process, we are told that it is best to do it in person, one week ahead of time and bookings ( 6 kids ) are often done on the first available day - 7 days ahead of time, so we were advised to hurry! So there is or there isn't a demand? How does the North Lincs think that providing 6 spaces a week for kids in the town of 12000 is adequate when at the same time we all are aware of all the health issues in the country with children not having enough access to the facilities that can provide opportunities for activities? Not only there should be a daily service accomodated with increased capacity, but it should be well advertised so the message will be received by as many as possible. Unfortunatelly alot of people must have gave up on the attitude that they deserve better for their hard earned money and just get on with what ever is being taken away , reduced, changed or what is not in the place but should be, often times repeating the old slogan of: 'well, what can you do'... On the good side though, there are some wonderful people working in the facility which gives a positive vibe to the whole of the image of the place.

Take my granddaughter swimming every Tuesday and Friday. Then pick up grandson from summer activity camp. Both enjoy immensely. Only snag. Children swimming free during the swim session we join which is great, however the kids come in dribs and drabs and join the queue where their friends are. Not fair on the people who have queued for half an hour. I called the kids out but many adults stood silent even though this meant they could be turned away as they have limited spaces. Was told they don't have the staff to police it.

Nice park setting, spacious entrance/foyer & friendly staff. I really enjoy the classes I do here. However, the pool is rather small & the membership prices are steep for what is on offer (comparable with nearby private gyms that have extensive facilities, saunas & large pools).
