   It's a great place to just come and sit, feed the wildlife, get an ice cream, or maybe even get some exercise and go for a walk, run, cycle around the reservoir. I like to do all three! Carparking is priced at £3 for the whole day, I've heard it will be rising to £3.50 soon.

   Good value at £3 a day compared with the country park visitor centre at the other end however beware the machine is cash only. Luckily the ice cream man accepted a debit card exchange for change!

   Crazy that it isn't open until 9am on a weekend in April. Loads of people just park on the verges. Ticket machine is cash only. 2 stars for the ice cream van.

   Easy to get to. Most people park correctly. You always get the odd one who think they are driving a bus and need 3 or 4 spaces. A good place to park for the walk round the reservoir.

   Beautiful and quiet place. You will definitely get close to the nature. It takes around 2 or 3 hours walk and it can be windy out there. Car park cost £3 minimum. There is van with ice creams in the car park on the warmer days.

   I always ride my bike to get here, and as such have no need to park a car. However, I can appreciate that in essence, it is definitely an appropriate place to park a car. The gates open to cars at 9am, but if you are walking or cycling you can get in before.

   Parking machine only took certain coins, no cards! Nowhere to get change, so either stay and get a fine or drive off, find a shop and come back! Didn't take new £1 coins at the time. Thankfully 2 kind people helped with change. The scenery made up for it though.
