Had the amazing privilege to have the flower boutique do the flowers and decor for our September wedding this year and I cannot thank them enough! Super accommodating when I could only come in on a Sunday for a chat about everything right at the beginning (even when I didn’t really know what I wanted yet lol!) to emails and phone calls going over any little thing I had questions about. Everyone LOVED the flowers and colour scheme, it looked phenomenal. Thank you again for working your magic ✨
We were fortunate to have The Flower Boutique do both the florals and decorations for our wedding. The company was recommended by our venue and we connected with Kim the company owner who is a lovely warm person. The company uses an online portal where you can see all the items you have requested for your wedding which streamlines the process, plus we has calls with Kim to ensure we were both aligned with the order of the day and placement of items. It is really convenient for both your flowers and decorations coming from the same supplier. The company also worked patiently with us and with a problem solving attitude when needing to make last minute changes to our seating plan because some guests dropped out. On the day, everything arrived on time and the set up and removal of items early the next morning was seamless. We were were so impressed with the quality of decorations and florals. All the flowers were extremely fresh and the bouquets were all beautiful. We also got a big floral arch in the entranceway to our venue which was stunning. They also offer options for preservation of flowers which I selected and I am looking forward to receiving a keepsake of my bouquet I can keep forever. We can not thank The Flower Boutique enough! I’ll start off by saying I loved the floral arrangements that we received, they were exactly what I wanted so nothing to fault there. The real issue I had was with communication. Unfortunately, trying to speak with the Flower Boutique resulted in several chasers on their customer portal, email and Instagram. As someone getting married, the last thing you want to be doing is chasing your suppliers to update invoices or quote for things you had asked for weeks prior. They say how your suppliers act is how they will show up on the day and that was sadly true in my experience. When everything arrived the morning of our wedding, we were surprised to see no table number stands had been sent. For context, as well as our florals, we got our menu, name cards, table numbers and seating plan done by them. When we were told “you never asked for stands” it felt slightly odd as why would that that have been the one thing we sourced ourselves? Especially odd considering the “table numbers” were glorified bits of paper that I could have printed at home and definitely could not stand up on their own. At the very least, I would have expected to have been asked “do you need stands for the numbers” to which I would have said yes! In the end we had to rush to Hobbycraft to buy our own. There was also an issue with some of the font being illegible on the menu cards which whilst not the end of the world, the response was that I had approved them so there’s nothing that can be done. I had approved one version of the menu but the font / wording I’m talking about was not included at the time and even so, approving something via email is very different to seeing it printed. I would have expected a courtesy message from the business to say “hey we’ve printed one and you can’t read it, what would you like to do?” Overall, great flowers - bad comms. Disappointed I didn’t get the same experience as so many others.
Kim and her team did the most amazing job with our flowers and we would recommend them to anyone. From our first meeting with Kim, we really felt that she understood what we wanted to achieve and she completely brought our vision to life. On top of the flowers, Kim’s team provided candles, trees and other bits of decor to transform our venue. The whole package was incredible and received so many compliments from our guests. Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning! They exceeded my expectations and made our wedding day even more beautiful. Working with Kim was wonderful - she is so knowledgeable, honest, and lovely to communicate with. Flower delivery and setup was prompt and easy. Kim supplied our wedding flowers. Originally booked for April 2020 she was happy to rearrange to August 2021 and all the dates inbetween. They arrived early on our wedding day allowing us to enjoy all the preparations. The flowers really complemented our wedding and she was happy with all the changes we made with colours and numbers. They looked so much better than what we could have ever imagined.
Kim and her team stepped in to do our wedding flowers 3 weeks before our wedding, when our original florist cancelled on us. And my how beautiful the flowers all were. We couldn't fault a single thing about the flowers, they were so beautiful and were a lot better than we could ever have imagined. Thank you so so much for taking such a huge weight off our shoulders after being let down at the last minute. We would highly recommend the flower boutique to everyone with upcoming weddings and events. We will definitely be purchasing more flowers from them in the not so distant future. I phoned through to request a last minute bouquet of artificial flowers for my wedding anniversary. They listened to my vague brief and gave me some suggestions. I largely left it up to them to be creative with it and they excelled! They delivered a stunning display bouquet which my Wife is very impressed with. Superb service. Thank you.
