   I only live about a 15min drive away, but the first day I decided to visit, I walked!! I had to go through foxhills industrial estate, and I wouldn't do that again, only because that part wasn't very scenic, obviously, BUT, once I arrived I was very pleasantly surprised, because it took me just under an hour to get there, I did the short walk all the way around the lagoon (20mins tops) there are plenty of 'off shoots' from the main trail, which I will definitely go back and explore another time, to say it's sat in the middle of an industrial estate, it seemed pretty much litter free, plenty of dog poop bins, not overgrown, some of the pathways would be ok for pushchairs and maybe a wheelchair, overall, it is a very nice place for a bit of beautiful outdoor scenery, definitely worth a look.

   Nice place to be, wanted to go paddle boarding, go paddle app said it was ok, get there and the council have added a sign which prohibits it. Shame really as it would be nice to have somewhere on the doorstep..

   Very limited spaces in carpark layby without obstructing emergency gate but free all day. Short walk around the lake on narrow paths, not pram friendly. Although beautiful place, it's probably only got 3 or 4 ideal picnic spots. Overall we enjoyed our dinner on the "beech" but unfortunately the nearby sewage treatment plant spoils it when you're down wind of it.

   This was part of the old Normanby Park steelworks. The pond was used to dump industrial waste and it was decommissioned when the steelworks closed in the late 1980s. The water had an irridescent glow for years after. North Lincs council have planted it up and laid paths around and it now looks lovely. I most definitely wouldn't want to swim in that water though!

   Would be a nice place to walk the dog. Please take note the review below is now misleading. Me and a friend went on a hot day hoping to take a dip. As we lay sunbathing the fun police who we have named as nigel came over to threaten that nobody is allowed to go in the water and anyone found doing so would be reported to the sheriff's. We not having it nooo more! regargless! naughty nigel.

   It was a nice quiet walk, we must have picked a good time to go. I've marked it down as the carparking is non existent. There is a small area to pull in but a council sign Infront of some metal barriers that said *Do not Park Infront of Emergency barriers* but there isn't anywhere else to park so people just park either side of the barrier. The water was very clear. There wasn't much wildlife or pondlife but it was a very breezy day. Nice little walk, didn't take long to get round full circle and plenty of benches. Would be a nice spot for a picnic on a warm day. The bins were rather full, there was a bit of litter about but not too bad.
