   From making a first telephone call to taking Buddy who was admitted overnight for fluid support after a being so poorly, I found all the staff very helpful. Helen one of the vets was very helpful and explained the treatment and why it was neccessary. I was kept updated throughout the day and when we collected Buddy the following night saw an emergency come in and was impressed with the way it was dealt with, whilst also dealing with the distraught owners in a caring way. I felt reassured knowing that I could call anytime over the Christmas holiday and know that there would be help and advice should I need it.

   Met Alex with our 12 year old Lab / Pointer for mobility check. Lots of advice and full check done. All done in a very professional manner. Our Fog was very patient and vet was very friendly and thorough. Great advice given and now we have to discuss our options and make a decision . All of which has to be beneficial for our pet and give her a better quality of life. Her joints are becoming stiff and less mobile. Advice around supplements and medication taken on board and a plan will be decided within our family. Thank you well worth visit and being checked. On our visits to practice we are always treated respectfully and with kindness. .☺️

   Extremely grateful to the emergency staff, who were there late at night over the weekend. Our dog was showing signs of being poisoned, and they dealt with her efficiently, effectively and displayed a great deal of knowledge and care. Tests and treatment were administered, whilst keeping us fully updated and informed about the results and options available to us. The vet was kind, compassionate, and realistic with her advice in what was a distressing situation. Fortunately, Luna made a fast, full recovery, for which we are incredibly grateful. Many thanks to the team, I have no hesitation in recommending this clinic for general or emergency care.

   We used the emergency service on the weekend to say goodbye to our beloved cat. The staff were very kind, we were extremely upset but they did everything they could to make the experience as smooth as possible given the circumstances. We really appreciated being given an appointment time and a private quiet area to say goodbye. We were too upset to say much at the time but the care and professionalism were much appreciated.    So grateful for the most wonderful vets We have been coming to medivet for 8 years for routine check ups for our cat and have never needed any extra veterinary care. But when he fell ill my god was I glad we were registered here. Amanda and Beatrice not only took amazing care of our cat but they looked after us too. They kept us informed at every stage of treatment, explained everything carefully, including the implications for his health and the cost. They rang us every few hours with updates and even said I could phone every night before I went to bed to see how he was doing and put my mind at rest. I spoke to the loveliest man who was happy to tell me little things like where my cat was sitting and what he was doing which I found really comforting. Amanda and Beatrice genuinely care for your pets, they speak to them and you with such compassion. As soon as he was well enough to continue treatment at home they let him go and we felt supported with all the information on his care going forward. Veterinary care is expensive but I think our bill was very fair for the service we received. And as I tell everyone you must have pet insurance. They even sent off the claim for us which was one less thing for us to do during a really stressful time. I honestly cannot recommend this vets enough. I hope we never have to use them again but just knowing how amazing they are if you’re ever in that awful situation is such a relief. We are on their plan where you pay a small amount per month for your pets vaccinations, six monthly health check and flea/worm medication. I’d really recommend that because it means they know your animal when it’s healthy which makes things easier when it’s not. It also gives you 10% off treatment which was helpful. Sorry for the essay but I really am so grateful x

   I had to bring my poorly dog to then late one night. Having never used emegency vet before I can say that from start to finish the process was explained and they took time to reassure me. They greeted my dog by name on arrival and took such great care with him. He is now well on the mend and I think I may well now use this vet team more regularly. Brilliant team. Thank you!
