   Decent everytime I've been they try and keep a tidy neet shop, sells lots of interesting items wont find at big supermarket, also on price yes some are over but they stock a lot of budget ranges and do deals quite a lot more than would expect, obviously not for a weeks shop but if need a few days supply or weekends its a decent place I'd say, its on you to check dates on products and such and ask for receipts ect.

   Budgens took over from Sainsbury’s, they decided to take 2 weeks to do a change around of the shop. In that 2 weeks of work, where people wasn’t leaving till gone 6/7pm on the night, all they’ve managed to do is put a new sign up outside, change the ATM, change the signs inside and shorten the cashier checkout. It has a Costa coffee machine, which to some may sound appealing. They decided not to change/repair the flooring, which is still stuck down with gaffer tape. Really professional look they’ve gone for. Absolutely disgusting. Regarding the products, well easiest way to say it, is this, if they have it in stock, then you will be overpaying for less product. Bottom line, only go if absolutely necessary, and even then, try to avoid!
