   Amazing venue to get married in- the views are just stunning and having the cottages and lodges on site is such a massive bonus. The venue is really well looked after and feels bright and new, yet cosy. Alex and Lydia are also great- two of the most flexible and lovely people we could've asked to work with. They were open to discussions around anything we wanted to do and worked hard on the day to make sure they delivered everything. Alex was such a calming presence to have around too when things inevitably got hectic! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family oriented wedding weekend.

   We (The Travelling Pig Event Catering Company) catered for a wedding at Blithfield Lakeside Barns on Saturday 20th September 2025, and what an amazing venue. Alex and staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout the day, and we couldn't have wished for a better venue for our catering needs. It is the perfect place for family and friends to gather for any special occasion. Highly recommend

   The only wedding venue we viewed - we didn't need to look any further. Alex and Lydia are the most amazing owners we could have asked to work with. They helped to plan and co-ordinate our day from start to finish. They have great knowledge of things that will work well that we didn't think about. Having the accommodation within our package is a perfect addition. Many of our suppliers commented on what a great feature this is, especially being able to stay Friday - Monday over a weekend wedding. We also got to have our dog stay with us and be part of our day which was hugely important to us. Every email, no matter how small or silly, was answered without a bother every time.    From start to finish Alex and Lydia were on hand to answer any questions and even go with some of our more unusual ideas (egg hunt)! Both helped massively on the lead up to the day and the day itself. They recommended so many great vendors that it really made planning much easier. Alex acted as the master of ceremonies and built up a fantastic atmosphere! The venue itself it’s stunning and our guests were impressed with how beautiful it was. We love it so much there! It rained for a time on our wedding day and it didn’t phase us one bit! Alex adapted to the circumstances and we had so much fun! All of the team and staff were brilliant and we are so grateful. The accommodation was so helpful for family and long distance guests to stay in. We had many comments about how nice it was! We love Blithfield Lakeside Barns, we are so glad we chose it as our venue.

   I came to this gorgeous venue as a wedding photographer in June this year. This place is excellently put together to make anyone's wedding day really seamless and enjoyable. I enjoyed having access to both the bride and the groom within the barns in the morning which also allowed me more time to wonder around the grounds and get some amazing establishing photos for the gallery. The venue inside for the wedding ceremony and reception is gorgeous and spacious with some fantastic views. As a wedding supplier I love to see venues that allow my couples to have freedom of choice when it comes to decor and catering and this venue does that really well! The owners and staff were all super welcoming on the day and were great to work alongside. I cannot wait to come here again for another wedding soon!

   Very cute and cosy accommodation, owners very friendly and helpful. The cottages (we stayed in 3) need some updates/maintenance. Furniture is and fittings broken in places, low beams didn't suit my 6 ft + height and floors were creaky beyond anything. Location is nice enough but you can't access the lake that makes it "lakeside" which is disappointing, as the lake is actually a reservoir for national water supply and angling. Travelling distance to loads of nearby attractions etc which makes it ideal.
