Facilities look good. Membership expensive as no concessions for pensioners.

Friendly attendance. Lots of activities, swimming pool and gym. Membership scheme worth doing. Would have liked more yoga classes.

By far, it is the worst qym I have ever had the displeasure of forking out for! Cramped and not enough equipment for the number of people who use it. Unless you have the luxury of being able to go way off peak hours or have the time to stand around waiting, you will be wasting your time! Other reviews are correct it can be like a youth club after school has done. Even my 14 year old son is bothered by the number of kids' pi##ing about in gym flexing for tiktok or whatever. I can't even bring myself to go anymore! Massively overcharging for what you get!

Used for 6 months but now cancelled my membership. Got it for the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi access but they are never open. Kept trying to bring a friend to the gym but they kept saying he needed an induction but there was never anyone in who could give him an induction.

Used to be a good gym. Now it’s more like a youth club after school hours. Great for the youths, not knocking them.. but the gym is now to small for the people going. I have never seen a gym so overcrowded, and I have been to probably well over a hundred over the years. The gym is also full of equipment hogging people… but given that there is only normally one of each type of machine and dumbbell weights this means that working out becomes a chore of trying to grab a piece of equipment when it eventually becomes available, rather that working out with the correct weight… you have to use what is available. The reality is that I frequently have to leave workouts unfinished at the gym and try to do the remainder at home, with my own very limited equipment. Sadly tere is a room right next to this one that could be used to expand the gym… but this is not being done by the senior management. The staff are professional and polite and I am not knocking them. Sadly at present there is no main gym to compete with them… there are others who n the town but not 24/7 . If a 24/7 gym opens in the town from a big well equipped chain I can see a mass exodus of members… as many like myself find that at times I have to travel out of town to get a decent workout. Don’t the council care about the health of the people living in it…

I went for the aqua fit this morning and there was a new trainer called Joe omg what a brilliant lady you could hear her instructions clearly and this was without a microphone her program was packed full none stop with moves that coincided with her music she interacted and spurred us all on to achieve the best results possible at our own pace. Definitely worth going to her classes 100% would recommend it for a feel good factor to start the day.
