Booked an appointment for makeup service for my prom, two months in advance. On the day of prom I arrive at Boots, and then I find out that the appointment wasn't even booked, and the worker that would do my makeup wasn't even there (without any warning for me). When I was booking my appointment the lady told me that she could do my makeup by picture that I would provide. But when I arrived, I was told that they can only do makeup looks that are in their system, which I was never told. However, shout out to two ladies who stepped up, and tried to do my makeup how I wanted it. Pretty close, but had to finish some details myself at home.
*** AVOID AT ALL COSTS - HONEST REVIEW *** This is an honest and truthful review based on my recent experience at Boots, and it was absolutely appalling. I was given incorrect information by one of the staff, and when I questioned her about it at the till, she flat-out denied ever saying it. It’s beyond shocking that Boots employs RETIRED KARENS who clearly don’t know what they’re doing and have no regard for customer service. To make matters even worse, when I asked for the manager, there wasn’t one on-site. Instead, some so-called assistant manager appeared, who was clearly already having a bad day and decided to take it out on customers. She was completely unprofessional, clueless, and didn’t have the faintest idea about the store’s policies. Her service was beyond diabolical – I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. This is the kind of disgraceful service that will drive loyal customers away. I shop at Boots regularly, but after this experience, I will not be returning. Rude staff, an incompetent assistant manager, and an attitude that screams they couldn’t care less. Boots needs to sort out their staff immediately because this level of service is absolutely unacceptable.
The pharmacy is poor, very slow Service, couldn’t be bothered to find a form so gave me the smaller more expensive (in the long run) pack of tablets I needed. They always have big ques and one til running. The main store is fine. I now get the specific tablets delivered direct from the company, with a subscription, makes my life easier.
Good sized store with a good range of products. However, prices are often much more expensive than supermarkets so I rarely buy anything in boots.

They have a good selection of products at various prices. You don't need to spend a fortune to get quality products
Went to the pharmacy in Boots after my local pharmacy failed with my prescription. The Boots pharmacy team were super effective. Friendly Easy to talk to. Helped me out with my prescription in a matter of minutes. Highly recommended
