“My 14 year old son decided he needed to do something with his hair I didn't understand. "A perm" he said. So he found New ID via a Google search. I took him after he booked an appointment. I am a standard blokey barber shop guy who just has a basic haircut from time to time so walking in felt a little awkward. A brown man with a brown child into a shop full of women staff and women customers, not brown. However, we were greeted with a "hello, take a seat" and it was totally comfortable after that. I left my son with I believe Heather who expertly did the perm, looked after him and he told me she had a chat with him and was really nice, just like everyone else. Good people. Lovely, welcoming, just nice. Good service. Good price. Thank you.”

Originally we went to another one in Kingswinford but since he moved and opened Turkish fades my son wanted to go to him as he's always so friendly and welcoming. He knows exactly how my son (me mainly) likes his hair. Always do a brilliant job, great price, really friendly and the environment is welcoming and clean. My son won't go to anyone else.. The shop was clean, it wasn't crowded, the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant and nigel was fantastic. I showed him what I wanted and he did me an absolute service. He's a proper man of the community which by today's standards, is rare. I loved the haircut, the experience and the conversation so much so, I tipped extra, because the prices in today's climate was absolutely affordable and with lasting words... worth every penny.
