“I haven't had haircut in years, and I find the whole experience with barbers, especially those that specialise with black hair, daunting. But this was nothing of the sort. The shop was clean, it wasn't crowded, the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant and nigel was fantastic. I showed him what I wanted and he did me an absolute service. He's a proper man of the community which by today's standards, is rare. I loved the haircut, the experience and the conversation so much so, I tipped extra, because the prices in today's climate was absolutely affordable and with lasting words... worth every penny. Can't wait for that clean cut again. Brilliant.”
“Sonia is the perfect definition of a hairdresser. She listens attentively to the client's wishes and executes them to perfection. She knows a haircut, or a change of look, can affect a person's mood. She likes to make you feel good. She is one of those persons who loves her job, and the result is seen in that mastery of the cut that ends up making you look more flattering. When she cuts my hair, I'm often asked, 'Who gave you that cut,' because people like the work she does. A well known Italian hairdresser asked me who the hairdresser was who did my haircut, he said he wanted to meet her. He was impressed by the mastery of the volumes and the finish of the cut. She is an artist. The last time I was there, she also gave me very natural highlights. I leave the photo below.”

Everyone in there is friendly and talkative so you’re not just sat staring at yourself in the mirror the whole time! Sarah is a legend and always my go to if she’s there, but you’ll never have a bad trim from any of the team!”
“Came in for a head shave, beard perm and beard shape up - for those with long beards i highly recommend the perm to clear up any messy stray hairs and to neaten up wavy/straight and sparse hair. The brothers at the shop were very welcoming, offered beverages, really cared about how i wanted my hair done - given english is not the boys’ first language they did very well to understand my broken punjabi/english! When my perm was setting they trusted that I could walk away with their equipment still in my beard and gave a lot of tips on how to look after and treat my beard, and also suggested products for me to use. I noticed a child had got their hair done at the same time as me and saw all the barbers act in a friendly welcoming manner towards them, they tried their utmost best to accomodate for them and provided a great service for them also. In my experience with other punjabi barbers, I’d say this one stands out because they provide a good service to everyone and not just punjabi’s/their regulars which is great to see! The service came at an affordable cost too (i calculated how much a perm would cost and their price came under what was expected). If there were an option to give a higher review i would!”

“Came in here by chance as the barber nextdoor (will leave separate review for them) was poor. The chaps here and customers were friendly and I felt welcomed. The guy who did my hair and beard took his time and was very attentive. One of the best fades and beard shape up I've ever had. And they are very cheap, (that I felt the need to tip) compared to the fancy Turkish barbers cropping everywhere. Don't be out off by the decor, they're highly skilled. One One thing I would say is he didn't show me my head from behind using the mirror. But he didn't need to as I felt so good. Thank you.”
