“Steps Dance Academy is not just a dance school, it's like a family - the teachers are so friendly and really care. They make time to get to know each child and parents too. Over the years my daughter has developed friendships and her confidence has grown in so many ways. Thank you Steph, Beth, & everyone at the Academy.”
“My son joined the dance school when he was 3 and has been there ever since. It’s a wonderful school and he’s made a great set of friends too!”
“We are thrilled at how well our daughter has settled in to this dance school. Amy is just wonderful and so encouraging. The school is competitive but not clicky and is a lovely place to dance. Thank you, Amy. We didn’t know we were going to find a dance school like this.”
“My daughter has attended sheryls since the age of 7 and has only just left due to going to university. I would definitely recommend sheryls what a brilliant dance teacher and the girls there are all so lovely.”
“Amazeballs place lovely miss michelle”
“A fantastic dance school. My 2 daughters have been attending for over 8 years. They have grown as dancers and in confidence in general because of the wonderful teachers. Couldn't recommend enough.”
“Great for core strength, posture and low impact hard work! I know you can get this from yoga, Pilates etc, but anyone who ever did performance dance will enjoy this additional element (and reliving our youth!!). Helena gives good feedback with explanation (to the whole class so no one feels singled out!) so poor technique can be corrected for maximum benefit.”
“I take a young lady here, good friendly grouo of girls, good dancing too.”
“So had less than a week before my wedding. I contacted Parambeer and we had some 1-1 sessions. He helped give me confidence and we went over basic moves to do on the dance floor. Having these sessions gave me the confidence I needed to perform on my big day. Parambeer is a fantastic teacher and I highly recommend him.”
“My kids love it here! We’re there every weekend and it’s fab”
“All about swing classes are brilliant, Rob and Sarah make learning such fun. It's a real community that makes everyone feel welcome .”
“Sander is a uniquely gifted teacher. I attend his weekly group Zoom class through Ballet on Demand, which involves students aged 8 to 60 and everything in between! Every single student receives valuable, individual feedback every lesson and is encouraged to be the best that they can be. He achieves this with good humour, compassion and his eye for detail, which cannot be taught, on top of sharing his experience and the excellent teacher training he has received. I have also attended every one of his Summer Schools. The Blommaert Ballet School Summer School is by far the highest quality programme about, offering small class sizes to allow for plenty of feedback, always excellent faculty and intensive hours of study. It is challenging even for vocational students but everyone grows and improves over the course of just six days as a result of the environment, teaching and schedule. Any student of ballet, at any stage and with any aspirations, would be lucky to have Sander as their teacher.”
“Well we saw the "Les Mis" performance at the Rose a couple of weeks ago and I have to say we were blown away. The acting, singing in fact everything was great. Having seen both the film and London production, we both prefered your version to the London version, the film still has the edge, although Russel Crowe could take a lesson from your Gevere. Oh in case you think we have a connection to Props we dont. Great performance, keep up the excellemt work.”
“Nice school and lovely helpful staff”
