“I had a very warm welcome from Leticia at Cafe Aroma, Westwood Campus, Warwick University on Friday 22nd April 2022 and enjoyed my lunch break. Sadly Beth wasn't there on that day but I thank Beth very much for the two bags of Aroma goodies that Leticia handed to me. I also thank Leticia for taking several photos of me inside Cafe Aroma. I also met Aggie and Simon Thomas who I thank, they kindly gave me a very interesting guided tour of the two Caffe Nero's at Warwick University. Simon also took a photo of me outside Cafe Aroma and another inside Caffe Nero, Sports Hub. He also kindly drove me back to Coventry to enable me to continue my Alan's Nero Tour weekend of the West Midlands.”

“don't go for food it's rubbish and overpriced- but it's a great place to go for free live football. the drinks selection is relatively poor and overpriced again. but I've loved watching arsenal play there.”

“The staff are very warm and helpful from reception, finance, library, catering and many tutors who support a wide range of individuals with different needs. It’s the best I have ever been to. I have two degrees and now changing careers as a mature student. North Warwickshire and Hinckley College has given me the strength to widen my ambition. “I was on the BTEC Art and Design course when I studied here, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! If you are interested in pursuing the arts as a career or wish to study a subject involving the creative arts at university, taking this course would be the best choice! We learnt so many transferable skills including how to build an online art portfolio and social media presence, as well as more practical skills such as PhotoShop. As well as this, the college organised many trips to art galleries across the UK and were even taken on a trip to Rome and Florence in 2018 to see an abundance of artworks and architecture (including the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo's David!) that greatly inspired our own artwork. The teachers are so approachable and friendly, and most importantly show genuine enthusiasm and interest in your artwork and encourage creative freedom, which had a huge positive impact on my confidence in creating art. After completing this course I received an unconditional offer from the University of York to study History of Art BA(Hons). I'm now in my third year and have been given many opportunities over the years such as displaying my own art in campus galleries, organising art workshops for students and the public, and have made connections with curators, art galleries and professors from top arts universities! Overall would highly recommend this course! (and college!)”

“Hi! I really decided to share a review when I saw many negative reviews. For some reason they are mostly on Google Maps, and when I first applied, I was disappointed a bit, but it seems everything is fine. I am a distant graphic design learner; I do not know about other subjects, so I am reviewing it as someone who completed the first year. So if we're talking about downsides—for me as an Eastern European, the price is a little bit high, but it's manageable. The online platform also could be improved; I will say refreshed. It feels outdated, but overall it is working. I always thought that learning is more about diving into the topic deeper and asking for help if needed. I can't say I am a good student, as I am working full-time as a motion designer, and I usually regret this because I wanted to spend more time on some topics. But the university provides lecture support, feedback, and 1-to-1 meetings. It's all possible by contacting your lecturer. Don't think that you will be treated like in kindergarten here, especially with distance learning. The university provides a lot of good literature in digital form (I wish I would have time to read it as much as I want). Each lesson is supported with literature. In design studies there is so much practical work each week; if you do it, you totally will understand the topic. Again, this isn't Harvard, but they provide a structured program that keeps you motivated to manage your time and deadlines, and you will probably have skills to work on some freelance tasks after a few modules.”
