“We’d been recommended Jack’s Shack by so many people and it definitely lived up to the hype. We popped in for lunch and ended up staying for a few hours with our laptops – a great spot to work from on a sunny day as the light came flooding in from the big windows. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food that arrived really quickly, and the iced coffee was especially good. One of us was gluten free and the other a fussy eater but we both had no problem finding something suitable on the menu...Eggs & avo on sourdough toast, a gluten-free ham & cheese toastie. We’ll definitely be back to see the friendly team, next time to try the French toast which smelt amazing!”
“I had the Classic waffle, with Flakes chocolate pieces and milk chocolate. It was soft and yummy! Great price as well! I'm definitely coming back!”
“Oh wow, the food is absolutely fabulous and the place and people are wonderful. This is such a relaxing place to have lunch and unwind.”
“Been here before and it is a lovely family run cafè. Staff are very helpful and food and coffee are great too. I had a teacake which came with good quality butter and blackcurrant jam. It was like foing back to my childhood for a brief moment!”
“TL;DR- Absolutely incredible food, the best brunch we ever had! Lovely service, and the perfect vibe for a weekday in town. If you ever find yourself in Leamington Spa, this place is a MUST. I don't usually write reviews, but this one absolutely deserves it. We came here midday looking for something to eat and my husband had found this spot on Google. We loved the vibe and aesthetic and were offered options for seating since it was a quiet weekday. We got menus and immediately loved the options that there were. I ordered The Veggie and enquired about sweetcorn salsa on the side since it sounded amazing and my husband ordered the Whipped Feta with a side of lamb merguez sausages. We both got peach iced tea. Got our drinks and we were so impressed with it. It was hand-crafted and we absolutely loved it so much. The extra thought that went into it was what made us really love it. Generally we pay double the price somewhere else for just a bottle of medicore iced tea. Then the food came and oh my goodness we couldn't get enough of it. It was flavourful, delicious, cooked with lots of attention to detail and we rated it as the best place we ever had brunch at. The sourdough bread was delightlyfully buttered for us. The eggs and hashbrowns were made to perfection. The bacon and sausage my husband absolutely loved. I fine dined my way through the incredible spiced beans, immaculate sweetcorn salsa, super flavourful mushroom and tomatoes, the lovely pumpkin seeds with spinach and I couldn't get enough. Definitely pop on by during the weekday as it was the perfect ambiance for brunch! The entire aesthetic is lovely, they have a lounge upstairs which is such a charming vibe to the entire place. We will be back soon, hungry for more!”
“Love it. I had a very good time there and my baby was so happy exploring all places and playing with new toys he never played before! Great place!!!”
“This place and the staff are amazing ! We called in after finding on google on the way to collect a motorbike this morning - would have been happy to spend all day there ! - nice place - nice food - nice people a must visit if your near !”
“What an utter delight to find this cafe when we’ve walked past it dozens of times. Such friendly staff, and a varied brunch/lunch menu with delicious cakes on show. We had soup and smashed avocado on sourdough, but wanted half-and-half so the owner thoughtfully suggested he split them onto two plates for us. And I’ve never seen such a fancy looking toast - it was all delicious. Very reasonably priced for Warwick and a quaint original feel. And lovely area locally to wander around. We will visit again in summer as they have a large covered courtyard.”
“What a fabulous little gem this is, family owned, amazing coffee, cute decor The staff are super helpful, extra chairs or moving tables are never any trouble, they really know how to take care of their customers Bin the big chain stores, and use this local place instead”

“So walking in we thought the place was quite small but actually my daughter loved it! Such a lovely atmosphere and the staff were incredibly friendly! Some lovely toys to play with and my toddler played by herself and didn’t even look for us. Best part was we were able to keep an eye on her whilst eating. Cute place. “Cosy cafe in quiet street in old Kenilworth. Popped in for coffee & cake after a stroll around the castle. Delicious selection of cakes & very good value. Relaxed friendly atmosphere.”
“We couldnt find a nice place to eat as it was our first time in Rugby so decided we could go to The big bite .So delicious we really enjoyed it. Nice lady served us. Would go back there for more. Thanks. And keep up the good work.”
“Went here with the family a few months ago after a nearby Lego event. Food was great, and the staff brilliant. Lovely lady who chatted to us, gave us some books for the kids, and made the kids feel at home with ride-on cars and a kitchen set they could play with outside. Then got an unexpected tour of the airfield so the kids (and us!) could see the planes up close.”
“One of Leamington Spa's gems! Family visit today and we enjoyed a fantastic tasty meal and drinks. The selection was amazing too. Great service here from the wonderful staff with a lovely vibe and although busy you don't feel rushed. Also dog friendly. VERY Highly recommended.”
“Lovely meal and the chap serving was so friendly and funny. Steak was amazing and pudding super yummy”
“Amazing place, really friendly staff. A member of our party hand wrote down everything that was gluten free- something you wouldn't get elsewhere. Food is wonderful and cooked really well. Brilliant selection. The only problem is the parking is a bit of a walk away, but blue badge holders can park in the street opposite. All in all a successful visit!”
