I took pain killer on day of surgery & next day but I can honestly say that I was astonished at how little pain & discomfort I felt. There was a healing time of approx 12 wks. I now have my implants & can't express enough how great they are compared to dentures. Yes they take a bit of getting used to but I an delighted with them. After years of worrying about dentures breaking or falling out & can now relax & be more confident, can bit with my front teeth & food taste so much better.
